I'm feeling a bit like the comics @Zaryiu brings us should have their own thread, if we're going to get daily updates. It's really hard to tell how much worse than "meh" they are without more context, and I suspect that context would take up so much space it may as well be an OP on the comics and their creators.

Its nice to see the thread get some activity, but feel like this more of a 'holy shit what is that' sort of thread. While Handstab and Willis crank out the occasional gem worthy of that level of horror, especially with context, not everyday rises to that distinction. And I don't know that anyone here actually reads them to provide enough context.

I do appreciate that sort of can-do spirit, but I do agree and I think a Really Shitty Syndication Feed type thread for general mocking would be a better place for them.

It's possibly the blandest and least original thing I've seen. And of course, fucking comic sans.

Most of them are just retellings of old lame jokes. Others seem to be CWC-style attempts at random-access humor.

Catching up on this thread and seeing regular Handstab is making me miss the /co/ threads mocking it. Until they inevitably spiraled into autism-fueled tranny hatelust.

I give Willis a pass because at least his comics look organic. So does a pile of manure, but what I mean is, it looks like a human drew them. Handstab I truly despise. Not because he's famous and making money, but because his comics are just so goddamned bad in every way. QC is a monument to tedium. Unfunny, bland, dull, and it blatantly panders to the Tumblr crowd. But I especially hate the art. The art was never great in QC, but for the past seven or eight years it's become this ugly, cheap cut and paste shit that looks like it was made in Adobe Flash. The colors are garish, it has a dead fish quality to the line weights, and there's a lot of same-face among the characters. Willis' art definitely has its faults, but JJ's stuff is just so utterly charmless in comparison.
