Seeing Garbage_Dump's initial post made me actually physically cringe and my heart sink. I knew, rationally, that Bodhi was not going to be allowed (by Susan and Cory) to remain off of medication but I hoped so hard in my heart that he had the slightest chance.

Of course that bitch did something like this, of fucking course she did. It's not difficult to provoke a severely autistic child with a history of even remotely aggressive behaviors (such as mild aggression or Bodhi's prior history of SIB) into a meltdown and into lashing out physically. Especially when you consider that Bodhi is delayed by years and despite the claims of "daily ABA services", that child has never received or benefited from true autism therapies or services a day in his life due to his mother's sabotage.

Without powerleveling, I believe that Bodhi has a history of SIB during meltdowns and in the midst of sensory overload and a potential for physical aggression when provoked, but the keywords there are when provoked. An autistic kid (or adult) is extremely unlikely to just be sitting watching a video and haul off out of nowhere and punch you in the face. If Bodhi did anything physical towards Susan today, it absolutely was provoked by her and likely Cory and it was planned. They locked (LOCKED?! Ex-fucking-cuse me?) Jani in her bedroom for an hour and manipulated her withdrawing, sensory defensive, autistic brother to the point of physically lashing out, if he did at all. (On that note, depending on what happened outside her door and how much she heard, I am concerned for Jani's welfare, too.)

Autistic violence happens largely when the autistic child is severely dysregulated, overstimulated, and overly emotional. Bodhi doesn't look like...any of these things, from the window into his world that we're given. His sensory environment is garbage and Susan does nothing to support his needs, or actually care for him more than food and shelter, but honestly among a sample of autistic kids with his history and on his 'functioning level', he would probably be one of the least likely to lash out physically or engage in SIB at this point. He seems to have done a good job on his own aging out of his SIB and from what we've seen, any of his old physical aggression and property destructive behaviors. I would hope that, if he does get put in the pediatric psych unit for this bullshit, that the staff and clinical team see through Susan's lies and manipulation.

I can't recall ever reading about a mother or parent who actually seemed to *want* society and medical staff to believe that her child, from before the age of five, was a violent mass murderer in-training. Her obsession with those drugs is to the bone, and it has to go beyond the fact that she doesn't want to parent and just wants to fuck and watch Netflix. Clozaril nearly killed Bodhi and she's petitioning to get it back by falsely accusing him of assault, or goading him into assaulting her, to give clinicians a reason. She is just so, so unbelievably twisted.

The thing is Susan didn’t have to trigger anything, she simply has to lie. Bodhi can’t defend himself or deny anything. All Susan has to do is make up stories about his attack to tell others.

Susan lies and exaggerates everything. She didn’t need to egg Bodhi into anything, she simply has to be alone in a room and start screaming “ahhhhh he attacked me” maybe cause a few marks on her arm and run off to the ER to tell the doctors about Bodhi’s familiar autistic rages and how he’s a danger to her, himself and needs meds NOW!!!

Shes documented that Thorazine and Lithium were given to him by age 2 and there shouldnt be any doubt in anyones minds that she gave Bhodi his sisters PRN clozis or a lower dose went to Jani so she could induce this behavior in Bhodi. Bodhi was probably a totally normal, likely intelligent (though swimming in Susan's gene pool didn't help either of them) infant, but once Michael and Susan, though mostly Susan, to be fair, started drugging him, all bets were off about his neurology. Same with Jani. She was probably a totally normal, albeit cranky and active, baby who would have needed a lot of soothing and rocking or typical appropriate mommy/daddy help to sleep (I am clueless about babies). However, instead of normal fucking parents, she got Michael, Susan, and Susan's bottle of liquid Benadryl, messing up her brain development. It'd be pretty awesome if someday when Jani and Bodhi are free of both parents and living in supported housing or something they get a lawyer and sue the shit out of Michael and Susan for destroying everything both of them could have been.

I'm not surprised Batshit is claiming this. I think it's great timing tho. She gets bitched slapped yesterday at the IEP, drags Bodhi to the ER that night for ridiculous reasons, most likely didn't get the meds she wanted and today she claims he attacked her. Makes me wonder what happened at the therapist appointment today, if she even got there.

When Susan is stressed she drags someone to the hospital proving her inability to parent and need to get attention.. Once this all gets to DCFS it will continue to show her pattern, just another brick in her batshit wall.

I worry greatly for Jani as well because I think Batshit sees Jani as an even bigger threat now. The latest with her phone, especially if she was complaining to Michael about her meds. Susan is real sensitive to thoughts of her meds by proxy being taken away right now, real sensitive. If she did lock Jani in her room before Bodhi supposedly attacked Batshit, that makes me even more worried.

I'm going to be pretty entertained when Batshit doesn't get what she wants from this circus show of dragging her son to the ER, yet again, and claiming physical aggression. They're not going to coke an 11 year old to the gills on antipsychotics because of one incident of aggression in almost two weeks. Susan and Cory are not the most reliable narrators on his behavior, and DCFS is going to be wary already, but moreso considering her revolving door trips to the ER lately. I feel like that new shrink is going to want way more input re: Bodhi's behavior lately than Susan and Cory despite this 'aggression', such as Jani's weigh-in (and she is shockingly loyal to her brother), and input from the school and his aides there. Batshit may be manipulative, but she's also stupid as hell. She thinks she just has to say some magic word and out of the hospital vending machine pops Clozapine, 300 mg.

Benadryl used to be a common last resort thing to give kids in the 80’s and 90s to get them to sleep for long trips or a particularly difficult to get to sleep one night.

I say kids because it was 3 years and older thing, considered safe but only to be done once in awhile, not on any type of regular basis. Unfortunately you have morons like Susan who started dosing newborns with it every night like a fucking retard. Now doctors are totally against Benedryl for anything but allergies.

It’s never advised to be given as a sleep aid now because you have abusive cunts like the Schofields who decided Benedryl was just another shortcut to take instead of parenting and started pouring it down their kids throats everyday because mommy needed a break. Then if the first dose didn’t knock little Jani out they gave another and another until they were basically poisoning her with it.

I wonder what Mike’s new wife will think when the new baby has been keeping them up for a few weeks and Mike suggests starting the liquid Benadryl routine so that they can knock the baby out all night and get some decent sleep.

I honestly can't decide if Amy is brave and has true faith in the changes Michael has made post-Susan or if she doesn't know what she's getting into. She's having a baby with a man who admitted, in a New York Times bestseller, that he shook his crying infant, and later in the same book admitted to speeding down the road with that infant, now 5 years old, screaming in the front seat hoping to crash and die together, before arriving home and swallowing half a bottle of antidepressants within the child's view.

That's gotta be a hell of a lot of personal changes made in not that much time.

TBH I wouldn’t be surprised if the “attack” had more to do with relationship stress between Susan and Creepy. Now that they don’t have Bodhi knocked out 90% of the time he’s in their care it’s cramping their style and their evening relaxing.

I’d guess Cory and Susan are getting less sleep and him getting sick of Susan’s shit would trigger her to create a drama like this to either guilt Cory into going with her to the ER or getting her out of the apt away from an irritated Cory. Cory has to get up and clean cars in the morning and I see him getting very pissy about Susan and Bodhi creating late night and 3 am drama.

Their relationship is now past the two year mark and that’s usually when these types of relationships fall apart.

Brain damage hasn't been shown to cause autism and correlation does not equal causation (I'm saying that client obsessed with cars was probably already born autistic). I'm pretty sure the research was showing that it develops in utero. Brain damage does cause mental re.tardation though and it seems they both have similar signs.

And from the recent videos of Bohdi, he shows signs of brain damage and not autism, and we can only hope his brain can repair itself enough where he can at least talk and take care of his basic bodily functions, if Susan isn't able to get more drugs for him.

I agree the drs will probably be more thorough now. Fuckin' Rizvi probably got blown by Batshit in those 5 mins.

I hope that if/when Jani gets interviewed again, for this incident or just another interview, it's with a very seasoned SW. I don't think Jani is quick or clever enough to get around a veteran, well trained SW. Susan can coach, but Jani isn't quick enough and doesn't have the foresight to see where a line of questioning is going.

I think Bodhi is capable of speech. I mean, he has said things on video and gone so far as to make jokes "The cheese stands alone" "Say something!" "Something." and he can request his specific videos by name. I think Bodhi could talk a lot more than we see him if Susan and Cory would get away from him. He's either scared of them/intimidated by Cory, or, if he's able to function intellectually on this level, he understands his mother's demand for him to speak on camera like a trained dolphin and adamantly doesn't want to. Someone else in the thread said that Bodhi has always been the more annoyed/uncooperative one with Susan's filming, and that may be another way he expresses himself. The kid hates her. I wouldn't be surprised if, if he were given a few hours of solid, alone, one on one time playing with the beardie or watching videos with Jani he opened up. And, also, ya know, appropriate freaking speech therapy like he needed, oh, I dunno, seven years ago.

And thinking on it, you're honestly right that he shows a lot more of brain damage than he does of autism, he doesn't stim or seem to have fixations on certain foods (not like S would allow that) or specific choices of clothing. His cars interest was totally age appropriate and normal, a lot of 3/4 year old boys are crazy about cars. The one thing I'd point out that leans more towards ASD than straight brain damage is that he's 11 and repetitively/fixatedly watches the same nursery rhyme cartoons on his iPad. I'm not saying the immaturity makes it 'autist', because Bodhi is obviously severely delayed, but the repetition of the same exact videos is. And his sensory/tactile defensiveness is a very stereotypically autistic thing, however, some light research says that sensory issues can arise from neurological trauma as well.

I hesitate to say that brain damage causes autism is my reasoning from things I've come across.

I forgot he's still going through withdrawal and that may be limiting his speech functions, but yes, he really does not want to give Susan anything so he can be left alone.

Little kids love things they like on repeat though and that's where Bohdi still is unfortunately.

Okay I've had my nose buried in various medical sites trying to figure this out. So I think what LilNUTTz was thinking of was a Dupuytren's Contracture, which is common, but based on like a million images of that particular contracture, that's not it. That one does this thing with the fingers which B does not have. Also in the 'D' realm, there is Erb-Duchenne Palsy, which is also comorbid with brain damage, and results in the hand curling and facing the rear of the body, but does not cause the arm to contract and pull up to the body (I couldn't think of a word to describe this, so thank you Kiwis for the fact that I Googled 'Paralysis brain damage T Rex Arms').
There's also the Volkmann's Contracture, which is honestly what it looks like the most, but which is generally the result of injury. This one has the curled hands and the arms pulled close to the body, but tends to be considered a sports medicine/orthopedic injury because it is caused by a lack of blood flow and necrosis of the muscle fibers of the muscle groups in the forearm.
Ultimately, most commonly caused by TBI/brain damage is spasticity, which can lead to contractures (as mentioned above). Increased muscle tone within the arms that goes unchecked or uncared for (as of course it will, if that is indeed what's going on here), and eventually the tightening tissues/fibers disrupt blood flow and die off, leading to necrosis and causing contractures.

I doubt that the ER doctors will give Bohdi any drugs, BUT the fact that Batshit has so quickly escalated things is concerning as hell.
Some people on here might have been joking a bit when they suggested that she might toss Bohdi off of a balcony or drown him in the tub... but I think she might try it. I really do. If push comes to shove, no way she'll give up her unfortunate offspring. They're everything to her.

Without those poor kids she's got no sympathy, no state money, no attention. Nothing.
And if she keeps pulling this sort of shit, eventually those kids will get taken from her. If they live long enough. If she let's them live.
