God, what a crazy old banshee. Sicker than the most rabid of rats. She's STILL plugging her precious Clozaril even after the doc said it would kill Bodhi. I just...fuck.

She's been obsessed with the drug trinity of clozapine, lithium and thorazine since Jani first got it aged 7.what is it behind wanting both your kids on the same medication?
I mean even if they had the same diagnosis, the same meds don't always work for two people, that's just the way it is, why does she insists on having Bodhi on the same drugs as Jani?
Not that I can speak for all mental health professionals and all psychotics at once, but I've never once seen anyone with real psychosis i.e psychotic depression, bipolar w/ psychotic features, schizophrenia/schizoaffective interact with friendly dogs and cats the way Jani does.
It's always sinister rats and bugs and such. If a large proportion of psychotics saw cute and cuddly animal friends, the world of mental illness would be a better place. But unfortunately, we don't.
I think Jani's schizophrenia diagnosis is not only a very solid diagnosis for how she apparently acted at that age, but at this point I think it's set in stone.
Months of unadulterated access to her behavior and professionals figuring out how she operates, in UCLA, without Susan to coach her 24/7, plus DeAntonio and not some idiot doctor shopped quack doing the diagnosing, Phil really won't question it even this time round.
I think the episode will definitely center on Bodhi and general overmedication as anyone can see that kid isn't schizophrenic at all and doesn't need fucking clozapine.
Jani's diagnosis, we can debate, but as far as the medical professionals are concerned, is here to stay. Although her medication should definitely be toned down. I know adult institutionalized schizos who aren't on half what she's on.
Very few professionals support the idea of COS. It had a fadish moment a decade ago among some psychiatrists but that’s over. It’s not in the DSM for very good reasons.
My psychiatrist has over 30 years experience in practice, and I ask her these kinds of questions all the time. According to current thinking COS is not an appropriate diagnosis, but has been replaced by pervasive developmental disorder. I don't know how long it takes for practitioners to switch from using DSM-IV-TR (2000) terminology/diagnosis to DSM-5 (2013), but I think it's important to remember that the DSM is an evolving document that reflects current research rather than the be all and end all.
Like the impulsive idiot I am, I purchased four out of the five Discovery Born Schizophrenic documentaries on Amazon. I wish there was a way to convert the files over to easy links for the thread here but I don't know if I can. Amazon's a bitch.
Literally by the start of the first documentary (Jani was six at the time) the UCLA doc was saying how toxic these drugs are and how overmedicated Jani looks. This didn't start when Susan took over. This goes WAY back. You can physically see Jani's hands trembling from too much Lithium.
Susan: "When she talks about hiding from her medications, that means she needs it!"
Who here thinks... Susan actually thinks dr Phil is gonna agree with her. In her mind I really think she is got this all planned out. Gonna tell him he was over medicated because the doctor wouldn’t give him lithium my poor baby was dying in front of me cause I had to keep pushing Thorazine down his throat when all was needed was lithium. To mix with his precious Clotszil... and in her mind just like that he will agree. Bodhi s meds fixed. But while I’m on stage let’s talk about mental health and while we’re at it please read my la physc script.
I can’t belive I just typed this but I truly think in her mind this is how she sees Monday going. Sick twisted pos! Sorry I’m just at a loss here! Her fb post comments are truly sickening. The walls are crumbling Susie Q you just wait! Corey you were warned and well you didn’t listen now you can rot in hell with her!
If this thing goes actually goes through, could some hero-kiwi save me a full recording? I'm currently without television and I'd hate to miss something this crucial. Watching Dr. Phil is pretty trashy but I'd give my left leg to see Susan get utterly trashed on national television.
Episodes are posted on Youtube. They get removed fairly quickly, but something like this will get reposted. You can also find uploads on Daily Motion.
I second the request though, cause watching a version where you have to slow down the chipmunk voices or zoom in to not see half a screen of swirling shit to bypass the autocensors is kinda annoying.
@Amy Santiago Donno what timezone you're in, but I'm in Europe and don't have issues watching them, even a couple days after they've aired. Really popular episodes seem to be taken down more quickly, but in turn they are also reuploaded more.
