One thing I also noticed in that clip is that her language is not at the level of a 8 or 9 year old. I think she was 9 in the clip? She seemed to have the same kind of language delays a lot of kids on the spectrum have, not great at answering any sort of non-concrete/open ended question. She couldn't answer Why questions, and I'm not sure she even understood longer, complex questions "Do you pet 400 or is he too mean?" It seemed whenever she was given a choice, she always just threw out the last part of the question, very echolalic. I suspect a lot of the stuff she said independently was echolalia that was coached by Susan.

Dr. Phil apparently noticed nothing because he has no knowledge in the area....so hopefully this time around he will have autism specialists involved since Bodhi has an actual autism diagnosis.

I just checked the clip...she was TEN in the Dr. Phil clip, not six. That is pretty shocking to me actually. I actually don't think Jani was very average in the clip for a ten year old, she seemed quite developmentally delayed.

Who knows the timeline of when Jani was out of school?

Add me to the list of long-time lurkers, first time posters. I mostly follow this thread, but also check into that Hartley mess. I had to sign up after the recent developments. I know Dr. Phil's staff is good at going through social media, so I'm really hoping that they bring out all the posts where Dr. Susan, WebMD uses her smarts to dx every person she reads an article about as having a mental break of some sort. I'd love to see that Clapton post pop up and him ask her what that's all about.

I've seen him bring up being a mandated reporter a few times. There is one specific episode I tried to search for, but cannot find. He talks about how he is a mandated reporter and then shows one of his staff backstage who he has call CPS on a guest. When searching for that clip, the one I kept seeing was the woman who was arrested for abusing her son after appearing on the show. Dr. Phil showed video of her pouring hot sauce in his mouth... and forcing him into a cold shower as punishment.
