Michael was on 1st and he owned up to leaving the kids, with a humility, when juxtaposed to Susan's Batshittery, was an easy home run. He did a great job not sounding like a bitter ex, just concerned about the kids and Susan's inability to co-parent. Susan did EXACTLY what we expect and Phil punked her like we thought. They started with the story of Jani but it was short and we saw no new video of her.
Susan came out of the gate swinging at everyone. She tried the "I'm an advocate" and Dr phil said "we don't need you" to advocate like that. She brought up Lanza and Sandy Hook and guns and phil told her schizophrenics are less likely to commit violence than the gen population ....SMACKDOWN!! And to STOP making that connection, that's NOT advocacy.
Phil said she went to 50 docs to get clozaril. Her response was that was cuz the Godfather trained all the shrinks and becuz of that, no one would prescribe it. She went on to insult phil as not knowing enough. HAHAHAHA said the audience. There was a lot of that.
Phil brought up the videos and showed the toilet one and parts of the cheese stands alone, focusing on Batshit asking Bodhi if he needed meds. He went after her about asking him, as if Bodhi was qualified. She tried to say, well Jani says......but got cut off. Phil made it clear even HE wasn't qualified to determine what meds. He made it very clear he thought the vidoes were pointless and exploitative BIG TIME.
Sophy was almost hostile to Susan and gutted her. When she started ranting about the bad mental health care system as a reason she had to film, Sophy slayed her with "But you weren't filming the mental health care system on the toilet, were you?" He said that 3 times SMACKDOWN, she admitted THAT video was wrong. Sophy made it clear that Susan was the problem and she needed to deal with her stuff cuz it was affecting her ability to parent and that her videos were exploitative. He told her she needed help.
Cory came on and wasn't received real well cuz he's a fucking dumbass, tried the "but you don't know" and acting like he knows more too and trying to punk Michael. But he wised up a bit as the audience groaned in all the right places. Becuz of the lighting and where I was sitting he looked more like a neanderthal than ever. At one point he looked out at the audience, assessing his waning stardom!! HAHAHA He tried to quiet Batshit a few times. At one point Phil said, "Cory, I think you're the voice of reason in this situation" and I almost jumped out of my chair screaming and wanting to vomit all over him. I think Phil was just placating and setting a trap for him to look more stupid, if that's possible. He fell into it.
At the end Phil said he'd help with ALL evals IF and only IF she took the site down. She immediately, without hesitation, said NO. Then Dr Phil said "Goodbye" and walked off the show. They all looked around like huh(cept for maybe Michael)? Then Cory took off after phil and security followed him out the hallway to where we couldn't see. Then Susan left the stage and got boo-ed and Michael got cheered.
A few minutes later phil came back on stage to 'talk' to the audience about what had gone down. Michael joined him. He received word that Susan and Cory wanted to come back. After some bs'ing, Cory said he would "ride roughshod"over Susan(audience groaned when he said that) and take it down by this afternoon, and it was down before I got home. Phil said she would sabatoge all efforts if she was still posting videos and he wasn't down for that backlash. After his offer was accepted by Batshit, he told her not to sabatoge this.
No one spoke the words MBP but it was on the screen as a comment on yt, so it got snuck in w/o having to take ownership of it. Niiiiiiice!
No mention of KiwiFarms, just that there was alot of online concern for these kids. The audience left with that same concern.
I know I will remember more tidbits and will write more of what I remember later, but that was the gist.
Edit: Bodhi's overmedication was discussed and phil said he was "stunned, absolutely stunned that any dr would prescribe Clozaril" for Bodhi or anyone that young.

I can see it. Yesterday I didn’t see the mri video she posted on fb till 30 min after she posted it. Probably fb being weird. Try refreshing maybe.

So cynical me, still confused. Who “ordered” Susan to take down social media? Who has that kind of control? What if she just puts it back up?
Why was Michael cheered? For abandoning his kids to a munchie? How was this show spun to make Michael look good?
Any guy who tells his kids, “I’m never coming back, don’t count on me,” is an arsehole no matter how you spin it.
Bodhi is recommended to be evaluated, but by whom? Is it enforceable? Can they just say no?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m really happy Susan got the kick she deserved but I think “the witch is dead” jubilation is very early. Shes not in jail, she’s not committed, she’s free to do what she wants. She got a scolding. She’ll have a harder time finding a doctor (temporarily) but sadly, not meds. So what, exactly, is a long-term change?
Her ex made it clear he doesn’t want the kids, she’s free to do what she wants, although she’s temporarily scared....I’m not getting it.
Maybe I need the full story.
And if anybody knows when the show airs that would be great!

I imagine it was a condition for after-care/treatment.
EDIT: It was a condition for my friend to delete her social media for after-care treatment, as well as to stop contact with certain people.
Any talk on Susan having to get help also? Their living conditions? And thank you for the recap. Greatly appreciated.

The one downside is that we will no longer see how Jani and Bohdi are doing, but I guess if the aftercare team are looking out for them then maybe they'll be okay? I dunno, it's like a nagging worry but I guess it's best left to the pros in this case.
I'm glad at least to hear the after-care is good, I always worry these shows just do that sort of thing as lip service. I hope Jani gets some help too.

We all knew Susan had doctor-shopped to find a quack who would give Bodhi her beloved Clozaril, but finding out she'd been through at least fifty doctors was still something of a shock. FIFTY DOCTORS, Jesus Tapdancing Christ. Most people don't end up seeing fifty different doctors in their entire lifetime! That's some of the strongest evidence ever of Susan being a munchie by proxy mom, I think.
I love hearing that Susan got eviscerated over the toilet video in particular, after seeing Cory the flying monkey defending the video in comments on YouTube, up to and including trying to gaslight the entire Internet by claiming the toilet lid was down during the video.
I was careful to not get my hopes up about how the taping would go, but honestly I think this is pretty much the best possible result we could have received from Dr. Phil, and I'm so glad the evil witch is finally being called out by one of the people who helped make her in the first place.
We'll have to see how long she actually keeps the channel down though; once she realizes letting Dr. Phil's aftercare people take over helping Bodhi means she's now completely lost control and can never again drug her children into vegetative states every day, she may put the channel right back up to try to 'expose' Dr. Phil as being part of the 'evil mental health care system' that TOTALLY were the ones forcing her at gunpoint to shove meds down her kids' throats.

He not only admitted point blank to his faults all over again and put himself out on national television for ridicule for ever being involved in Susan's bullshit,
but he and those who care about Jani and Bodhi got the man who has the most resources and best team at his disposal out of all other talk show hosts to sit up and take note.
Michael, you went in there with the possibility of Susan being completely believed, walking out emasculated completely, feeling like a terrible Dad and knowing your kids could possibly die from overmedication.
Jani and one day, possibly Bodhi will turn around and thank you for finally bucking up your ideas. For saving their brains before they turned to total mush. You did good.

That wasn't necesasrily my takeaway from that comment. It doesn't say anything about them going out to live with him, just that he's not coming back to CA. It's pretty ambiguous in intent, especially since it was said to Jani, who is an unreliable narrator, poor kid. So, as a fellow cynic, you may be right, but we can still knock on wood.

Dr Phil mentioned the PNP Center in Tx run by Dr. Frank Lawless, best in the country, he's a specialist on Autism. Phil said he would pay for everything and I think Susan's gears will shift and she will get her attention/chaos at the hospitals now. And I still think it's possible she'll post, somewhere, something, but not the kids, but who knows. Cory seemed pretty determined to get that eval and possible he's seeing a bigger book/payout. (Think book about how the med field failed their kid blah blah blah.)
Michael brought up the point about the living conditions, told how much Susan was making per month, despite saying she couldn't afford a bigger place and..........that she drove a bmw HUGE AHA!! from the audience.
Never in a million years would I have gone to a dr phil taping, but this was Must See Tv. Mobility/chronic pain is an issue for me and I hurt, but it was worth it! My jaw dropped when Cory ran after Phil.
Edit: I don't think a dr in LA would take Bodhi on as a patient with SUsan behind the wheel unfettered. Sophy and Phil made that very clear. The drs are running from her.
