The problem with what Glip is trying to do here is that the farms back up everything and there is always context if you look for it.

No one claims Eevee defends cp by cropping the context. The entire thread wherein she defends owning illegal pixels is often linked and sourced.

Glip and friends however have a long history of changing their stories and withholding or adding context as they see fit, without caring to source things often.

By trying to show what they think KF does, they're only reinforcing the differences in the way each "side" works. Glip is just parodying the way they actually act.

A true friend wouldn't treat you like this, while it can suck when friends are in awkward situations - you have *every* right to seek understanding when things are not adding up a good, friend might hurt from that - but not punish or "stick you on probation" for it (at least in a professional way, they might need time to get over the hurt personally but still!)

Joop didn't say a bad word about PK or Eevee. They came into the thread I assume, to counter some of the recent fresh stories, not out of anger - but because the person they saw wasn't the one others were seeing (this is actually pretty normal in an abuse situation - the ones being "groomed" see the nice side, those who are not see something else). They noted this was weird, but they they wanted to believe in their friends. That's natural and understandable. The way PK is treating you is abusive - she wants to spook you and make an example of you. That's not friendship, that's dictatorship.

I also assume Joop is a bit young because the typing style suggests so, and PK and her buddies seem to really like delegating moderation of their sites and discord to young starry-eyed fans that are too excited to be given responsibility to question anything. The discord mod who relayed Marl's "smoking gun" confession that the logs were real was also a non-binary questioning young person too as I recall (not Joop but someone else) and they got gulaged too despite batting for the team up to that point. Of course we can't and shouldn't pressure you to stay just because PK doesn't like it - your safety and well being comes first. But I just want you to know It's not your fault - no matter what she says to you.

It's also clear that these people are coming here not because they suddenly hate PK, but rather out of concern for them and what's going on. @Needle Fletcher also doesn't come across disliking PK but I imagine there's a lot of complicated feelings going on with them too.

I went to look at that fic author’s twitter, and saw she tweeted one more thing, that said there was only ever one fic.

As soon as I saw the tweet, the account went private. I really hope someone caught that and archived it, I was on mobile twitter and it happened as soon as I looked at her profile.

they are all pretty adamant that the two versions exist, as seen through twitter at the moment. like i said earlier (i think?), if this is truly their doing, it's likely to further glip's own narrative. i feel like this is their attempt to have "proof" that people are "setting them up" so that they have SOMETHING to stand on because all of the evidence proves that theyre guilty. theyre literally trying anything to get some sort of footing

Some quick thoughts on the fanfic thing

Isn't really weird that suddenly some Floraverse fan content comes up and it even gets attention from Glip? I seem to recall she's never exactly been one to just share fan-stuff made for her projects and usually very picky.

Something feels fishy about all this, there's clearly some sort of "game plan" but then this plays two ways;

a) Glip using and misrepresenting a fans work all to make a point to the mean people giving her stick (in which case I legit feel sorry for the fan who - despite writing skeevy stuff for whatever reason - got dragged into this just for tweeting something they made as tribute to someone they admire...)

b) this is all a ruse cruise and part of the weird "game" thing going on to show those mean people calling them out what for in an elaborate scheme so they can feel smug about it later I guess?

It's very strange but I'm not sure it's actually going to help them in the long-run to be honest.
