AFAIK, no one has been told to restrict their speech beyond what the ToS defines. That is, you can't have calls to violence on people. I'm not certain why Ralph has been censoring 'nigger' and why he seems to disavow even when others say it like Rand.
Rand had to remove his happy dancing letters from his stream as a result of whatever was pointed out to the owners that took down Josh. From what I understand, the 'hatespeech' qualifier in the ToS has been stated to include specifically 'racial slurs' in streamers names, in stream titles, and statically shown on screen (which thus causes a thumbnail to show on the homepage with it). This restriction applies only to streamers though, and NOT chat. As I understand it, this is a ruling that has to do with the acceptable use policy of the back-end streaming / CDN platform. The chat and front-end are hosted on a separate service.
Ralph has been actively censoring entire superchats depending on contents. Supposedly the GQ (Gunt Question) had been a self censored topic. The word 'Gunt' was actually blacklisted in chat when the meme first taking off, but that's now been reversed. Additionally ethanralph.com was also censored in the chat (don't remember if this was due to mods removing links or if it was blacklisted though. I was already chat banned by then).
Overall, the GQ and #GuntGate seem to have undoubtedly gotten to Ralph. Additionally many Gunt posters were banned in his chat (stream.me's chat bans act like shadow bans). User with Gunt in their name were targeted as well. The bans on TRR's channel also appear to have been applied to Gator's channel as all users banned in Gator's chat, were also banned in TRR's (note: I only had only asked like 3 users, so little speculation)

Where I had previously seen Ralph temporarily muting users who are spamming or causing trouble in chat, it appears that it has now shifted to a banning mentality.
Ralph has started to create a hug box for himself, while claiming that he's not bothered / mad about it.
Ralph has even been banning Gunt posters in discord and blocking on Twitter:
I doubt that this was was the reason Josh/Null was banned. BadTits had "doxed" their names on twitter a month prior while digging up info on their stance on free speech. Finding the info on relatives from there is not too difficult, and could even be perceived as a threat. I think what you are referring to was another instance in which Josh/Null was deplatformed.

Every time I see someone say "Gas the Jews" etc, I get images of drooling fat morons with propeller hats on. The gunt thing is the same.
I hate to say this so bluntly to you sensitive souls, but any reasonable person would ban the gunt thing, because it's not funny and just autistic.
Ralph has certainly got the vapours about it, but it's still fucking stupid.

I think Ralph only bans malicious guntposting (related to the doxxing) since they've been reading gunt superchats and laughing about it. Dispatch could be running an op. Don't put all your trust in Dispatch.

Yeah I agree, Ralph should have a word with her parents before letting her on regularly.

If Ralph is dumb enough to censor mentions of it in chat, he has to expect people like Kraut to start baiting him with it. Only solution is to own it basically.
Of course there's a fair chance he'll crack down even more, and more people will troll him with it.

This is an astute use of the Caliph/Vizier model which I read about somewhere on the Internet I'm too lazy to dig up. The basic idea is that the Caliph (permanent leader) appoints a Vizier (less permanent underling he can fire) to do his dirty work. Then when the Vizier becomes unpopular the Caliph says he's shocked to hear of dirty work being done and disavows him. Or fires him and appoints a new Vizier. So the Caliph keeps his hands clean and is seen as someone who defends the regular folks from nasty middle management.
It's apparently very common in corporate settings.

This, its much more likely considering the Spite Club thing went where it did because Ralph didn't seem to give a shit. The caliph/vizer thing is too autistic to say for me until I see more evidence of that relationship.
Also I'm disappointed @Gustav Schuchardt didn't just call him the guntfather.

The Gunt was always gay and stale. That's what Gunts are. But Ralph sperged out when people started pointing to his gay and stale Gunt. It's not really about the Gunt but about Ralph's spergy decline and continued descent into alcoholism.
Having kids on all by itself isn't dangerous. But what is dangerous, is having Ralph drunk while talking to some underage kid about adult content. I guarantee something stupid and show ending will ensue. If he can't get his drinking problem under control, it will be his undoing.
