Glip's adamant and unbending refusal to work on any commission work that she doesn't personally enjoy is a tacit endorsement of the content of that work. Glip took this commission because she wanted to and because she liked it.

Sometimes people have to do things they don't want to do in order to survive. People work shitty minimum wage mcjobs. Artists draw porn content they find distasteful or disturbing. Not everyone has the luxury of choosing exactly how they're going to make ends meet. Glip does, and she chose to only draw the kinds of content that she was personally interested in.

I made this post in this thread a few months ago, and sadly it's still relevant. It's in reference to the baby Kangaskhan series of pictures she did. They're graphic infant sexual abuse. Curiously this was not part of her 'art I regret drawing' answer.

Glip takes commissions because she likes the content. Stop lying about it.

To Glip's fans, being in a 'community' where you are afraid to have your own thoughts or ask questions is not fucking normal. Healthy communities and groups of friends allow people to think independently. Constant anxiety about discipline or displeasing the owner is some cult shit. You should not be afraid of your friends. You should not be afraid of people you look up to. That is fucked up, and that is normalizing emotional abuse.

Because people in this thread, shitposting aside, actually have an emotional range past a nursing infant. This is arguably the nicest thread on the site and It's a nice reprieve from the rest of it at times lmao. I didn't do much when pmd-e was active other than make an app but the stories I heard were enough to make me conveniently find another group to focus on at that time.

I was surprised how supportive kiwis are of people with legitimate problems when I initially started lurking. Gonna de-snark for a little bit and leave some tips for anyone on the Flora Discord who might be lurking here at the moment:

• If someone is telling lies as a "game", and they encourage people who aren't in on it to believe them, it's not a game.
  
• Someone who is willing to lie about you to protect themselves is not a friend.
• It's not normal to be terrified of questioning someone, or for someone to publicly shame anyone who questions them.
• There are plenty of people willing to treat you like you treat them. Someone who complains about being hurt and complains when you don't want them to hurt you is not a good person.
  
• Evidence can be verified. Anyone who tells you that there is no way to tell the difference between the truth and a lie is someone who is trying to undermine your sense of reality.
• Specifically: There is a difference between seeing for yourself that something has been taken out of context and taking someone's word for it. If someone says "I have proof" and won't show you, question that.
  
• If someone offers their side of the story, you're not obligated to take it as the only truth. You are allowed to choose what to believe.
• Contrary to popular belief, people who commit abuse are often capable of being nice. It's the most common cover story. If you bring up concerns of abuse, and that person's immediate reaction is "but look at how nice I was to you!", they're deliberately trying to take advantage of that.
• People who were abused should break the cycle and make things right. It is possible to sympathize with someone's abuse and still believe that. Be wary of anyone who uses their abuse history as a free pass, rather than an explanation.
  
• Very few people in this world are purely good or evil. At the same time, there are a lot of broken people that you will never, ever be able to fix, no matter how much time and effort you put in. It's not your fault. Let it go.
• People who try to hurt you for leaving them are, in fact, terrified of losing the ability to hurt you for being close to them. If you've thought about leaving, do it. It won't hurt as much as you think it will.

The only reason I normally act like a chode on this thread is that I've found that laughing at narcissists is preferable to taking their games seriously (and even that's not for everyone, of course). I have a lot of for the fans who just got into a cartoon animal webcomic when they were 12 and ended up in this complete mess.

Joop, the fact that you see yourself as "in trouble" over questioning and trying to understand things that Glip does not want you to try and understand is a huge red flag. Glip wants you to see them in a position of power. Think of it like this: If you had a friend who was, say, a coworker, or a classmate, would you feel "in trouble" if you asked them an honest question about something that they did if they weren't toxic as hell? I don't see any proof of the fic writer interacting extensively with AshenMessenger. Even if they did it wouldn't change anything. It especially would not prove that AshenMessenger encouraged their friend to bait Glip or something. It's like they act like everyone who poses a threat to glip and Eevee are a part of some massive collective consciousness. Glip lied so much in their explanations of what happened to confuse people, its so obvious.

And like, even then, who cares? There's far more incriminating evidence of the fact they are/were into creepy shit, like the fucking loads of disgusting cub porn they drew back in the day (there's links somewhere in this thread to their art in Softpaw magazine, aka a cub magazine, which was notably proto-floraverse and contains Papaya Kitty, they are literally lying when they say they didn't.) Last night it was hectic. We know PK has been in a downfall spiral, but I wonder if last night's shitfest was the actual beginning of the end for their antics.

I'm not going to repeat what others have said about escaping from PK's claws and that you're worth more than they'd give you credit for. I'll just remind you everybody of the following.

That person, the girl that we're talking about, is the same person who told newbie artists (some of them people of ages between 10-12 years old) that their art was shit and that they would never be good artists, that they should quit art and stop staining a profession as beautiful as being an artist.

She's the same person who created a RP group aimed to kids and then filled it with gross porn and fetishes, then claimed that there was nothing wrong with that, saying instead that her big fetish was to have kids discovering their sexuality through her.

She's the same person who threw a fit of anger because somebody redlined a mistake she was committing during a stream, and she's the same person that kicked a friend away because this friend pointed an inconsistency between some maps for their roleplaying game. A kick out that was so strong that said ex-friend is hurt even today, and scared to talk about it at all due to how much PK intimidates others.

She's the same person who didn't care about destroying one of their fans that dedicated time and effort to write them something out of love (as much as we could dislike what he made, she actually praised it). She tossed them under the bridge to try to cement her own narrative, a narrative filled with lies that she's adamant to keep even right now.

This is the kind of person that you're supporting.
Never forget that.


And finally, remember: PK is desperate because unlike the people in her discord or in social networks, she has no power here. She can't intimidate people in this site, she can't really bully us, and we're keeping an image of everything to use it against her if the need arises. That's the real reason why PK is so in arms right now and so desperate to push her own narrative with phrases like "Would you trust a friend or a set of random callouts?" and her "Talk to meeeeee! Anyways is Glip going to address the fact that the reason someone mistakingly wrote underage smut of one of their characters (that they 'mistakingly' endorsed) is because the canon of their comic facilitates the idea that that adult was sexually interested in that child in the scene that fic took inspiration from because I'm gonna be honest it is near impossible to look at those panels and say "yes, there is no devious intent in trapping someone alone and asking about.... hugs". At least this fan tried to give you the benefit of the doubt that your character wasn't a pedophile.
