I don't really think she sees the connection between what she eats and her health, not really.
She doesn't. Until very recently she also didn't see any connection between her weight and her declining health. Unlike the weight, though, I don't think she'll ever connect the dots when it comes to what she eats.
It's like washing your hair once and figuring that will last the rest of your life.
It's like not needing to go to the dentist anymore because she was checked by one when she was 17 yo.
when her health/sales coach told AL she could lose 200lbs in a year AL must of really thought this was a magic pill that would still allow her to eat 1000s of calories 6 times a day.
Emphasis mine. Amber cannot grasp how numbers work, or what they mean. From what I understood of this diet, the 6 meals were actually 5 snacks and only one meal. Most people would look at that and question the fact that they would have to go on 3 bars, 2 shakes and one (very lacking) meal for 18 hours.

Amber saw 6 meals/day, did a simple math 12 divided by 6 and got all she wanted from this = she got to eat every two hours. Win!
It’s probably because these people eat when they’re not hungry, ALL the time, so they have no idea what actual hunger feels like. When they suddenly become actually hungry, the sensation must be terrifyingly unfamiliar.

Yeah. I was talking to someone who decided to go on a diet and they were complaining that salad wasn't good for them because they had one for lunch and they were having "stomachache" a few hours later. I had to tell them it wasn't stomachache, it was hunger.
(in case you're wondering, they were the kind of people who said they didn't know why they were fat since they didn't eat that much)

When someone her size needs to lose weight you start out normally by eating 900-1000 calories per day. Now, this doesn’t mean any type of calories they have to be calories of high quality (protein, healthy fats, fiber and probiotics) or else you will become malnourished because if you eat sugary food (not fatty food) your body just throws the glucose into the fat cells, causing yourself to cave in to any kind of craving.

Normally after 2 weeks of eating 900-1000 calories your body begins to adjust and changes its microbiome to follow the new intake and handle it accordingly (hence why it’s normal to feel sick and unbalanced). Once this stage is passed your body eventually teaches itself that it’s preparing to lose weight and uses up all the vitamins, proteins, and fats and you can trick your body into burning extra fat that it has previously stored for later use.

This can actually effect your metabolism, causing it to struggle to burn off fat properly after you microbiome has already adjusted, but only if this is done for to long if your eating LOW GRADE calories which is why her “MUH METABOLISM” excuse is ridiculous.

If she took any amount of time to research she would know that gradually increasing calories to adjust your body and detox off white sugar would absolutely work.

She knows how to manipulate her audience because if you do google how your metabolism is effected by crash dieting it’ll come up with results suggesting that her metabolism will be effected long term.

According to her, Becky and her family told her “900 cals was to low” I’m not sure why she’s listening to them at all when they know nothing.

(Just to provide crediabilty on this I work in microbiome studies and how it effects weight loss currently where I work. Considering there’s so many aspects to what went wrong here it’s almost impossible to google proper results. I would recommend to take what I say with a grain of salt as we are just researching. Nothing has been proven yet. EDIT: Feel free to give me a powerlevel if you feel necessary)

Amber could actually get an FMT (fecal matter transplant) to immediately change her microbiome in a healthy natural way and it would most certainly make her lose weight. But we all know she has absolutly 0 intention of losing weight or her gravy train would be over.

EDIT #2: after reading this, I can see how this might be a little confusing. Let me know if there’s anything that needs clarifying. As I feel this description will give everyone good ammo to show how wrong she is.

Considering what a big deal she made about this being her last chance ever to save her own life, I assume she's resigned to dying now...

The only thing that will help her is in-patient treatment (with NO visitors!) at a hospital or mental health facility, where her intake can be strictly monitored and where she would have to do monitored exercise. She can't control herself in the least, so she needs to be treated like a child. Something like that can easily run into the thousands of dollars, even tens of thousands, though. And even if she could afford it, she would never do it. And unless she got WLS as part of the package, she'll just fatten up again in a hurry afterwards.

Let's see if she caps this off with a manic binge. If she does, it is pretty much game over. No "wake up call" has ever had any effect on her whatsoever, except to make her fatter.

I mean, let's be real for a second: her metabolism is the least of her worries. That shouldn't even be her focus because she's inching closer and closer to the end-stage of obesity. Her focus should be to lose the weight by any means necessary - and yes, that includes limiting her calories. If she committed to eating 1,200 calories a day between now, and say the beginning of summer, she would easily lose 100+ pounds and do so without compromising her health. It'd be an adjustment, no doubt, but AL would need to commit to her health and it's clear she doesn't care about her health. How she can sit there with a straight face and say this diet is just too little, when she's 600 pounds, as if eating too little food is her problem, really showcases her warped mindset.

AL can't differentiate between what it's like ending the day without feeling massively full and overall fatigue/weakness. In her mind, whenever she isn't full to the gullet, that must mean she's about to become malnourished and is eating too little. Except that's what a normal person experiences. AL only operates on two levels: Stuffed or starving - except what she thinks is starving is just normal for most people as I'm sure she hasn't truly felt what it's like to starve at any point in her life.
 
Ive noticed both she and Chantal do this but I NEVER see them eating something without just a bigass jar of pickles. No matter what it is, whether or not pickles go with it, theyre just chowing down on pickles. Is that weird to anyone else? I know typically restaurants will use pickles as like a complimentary flavor and the acid kind of cuts fat and pairs well with fatty foods and makes them less "heavy", but I dont imagine they taste or even care about the quality of the food or any gustatory/gastronomic experience shit. Chantal goes beyond pickles to just any pickled vegetables, and yeah something like pickled dill beans are good but, she just goes hog on them.

Now that I think of it my (dad bod) dad used to tell me "a pickle after a meal will help you feel less full and bloated--and I dont think that's true, dad was kind of full of shit all the time, I dont know where he got it or why he used to occasionally tell me that, but Im just noticing her pickle alongside her "lean and green" meal and wondering what the fuck is up with that?

Especially since she's blaming noodles for "sodium caused weight gain from water retention". Im confused as to why they both eat pickles with everything, pickles are brined so theyre full of sodium, plus they refuse to not have processed or takeout/restaurant food. Does anybody else eat pickles that often and in those quantities?
The pickle thing is so that they can keep eating past capacity. I agree with your dad on that front.
It's a common theme among omega-fatties that they switch up food flavour types (sweet,savoury,salty,sour) mid-binge so that they can continue eating for longer. Sort of like how people say that you "always have room for dessert" even though you're genuinely full from your meal.

Or on the last episode of M6PL, Lacey purposefully resets her palate with savoury food during a sugar binge so that she can keep on eating cake after she feels that she can't take any more sugar.

Wow. I thought she'd last longer than 3 days. Well I guess that's what I get for being :optimistic:. Her lack of discipline continues to surprise me and I've been watching her for about a year now. Onto the mukbong videos gorls! But in all seriousness, I hope she is saving up for funeral costs. For the crane to lift her out of the house, the huge casket etc. That stuff isn't cheap!

she said she took measurements before optavia... not sure why she couldn't measure her bra size. torrid has a size guide on the website. they even have 50b and 50c sizes unless those bands don't fit around the upper back boobs. eventually those 7 year bra/s are going to snap.
 
Conspiracy theory for the day: that fart traveled. It wasn't hers. Becky butt-burped in her sleep. The lighting in the room and the pindrop silence suggests she was filming in the middle of the night. Or maybe it was a barking spider. I'm open to other theories.

These vlogs are honestly getting so boring, I've been tapping out early just to read comments instead. Also, it's notable that this was apparently filmed over a few separate days and clothing changes, and she doesn't stand up once. Housebound for sure. Bedbound probably a few short months away at this point.
