Once you surround yourself with people that are exactly like you, you lose the general ability to experience forms of variation or expansions of character. That's what troubles me about genderspecials constantly flocking to each other--it creates the idea of a cis or heterosexual person as the "other", hence why these types of people are always wailing about them on places like Twitter or Tumblr. When you see Jazz interact with people not like him, he's gotten to the point where he doesn't really seem to care very much about their needs and wants. When's the last time you saw him care about the plights of his sister, who is pitifully ignored by pretty much everyone and is just going to be treated as a sperm dumpster in case Jazz wants kids?
