CPS corruption & addict mothers - ..fucking cunts

Whenever Child Protective Services takes a child from his or her biological home, that particular DHHR receives thousands per month from the federal government; I believe this leads to CPS investigators falsifying reports, outright lying, & manipulating the system to make a profit. My husband is a local cop & I've seen small town politics & corruption first hand - it is VERY real. If a mother has a drug history but has been clean for the duration of her pregnancy, & maintained sobriety without relapse, how can that be used against her as grounds to take her child? How can CPS take babies with such little or no evidence supporting their claims of abuse or neglect? Or do you think junkies just shouldn't be allowed to parent?

If the mother has ever had a child removed for drug abuse, CPS will be called every time she gives birth no matter how many years she's been clean. In most jurisdictions, especially if the mother does not have custody of the older child/children due to drug use, the theory is that she has exemplified a "flawed understanding of parental duties" and therefore she needs to prove she can actually care for the new baby.

The people who deny the corruption in the CPS organizations are people who have never dealt with them first-hand.
They’re corrupt and rotten to the core. Do a little research into the mass drugging of children in over-packed foster homes, speak to people who have went through the system, and speak to parents who have had their children wrongly removed from them.

The amount of times I’ve seen CPS remove children from the custody of their father and put them in the care (partial or full) of their irresponsible, abusive, or addict mother is absolutely wild.

There’s being sober for a long period of time, and then there’s being a junkie parent. Junkies have no place being parents since they can’t even take care of themselves.

"No reason" isn't the same as "stupid reason." I work in parental defense, CPS is horseshit but they have to give a legal reason for taking kids. It may not be a good reason or even a truly credible reason, but there is a reason for it. In this instance, the mother's history with drugs. If you give birth to an addicted baby and then spend 10 years sober, CPS is still coming to the hospital for the second baby. It sucks but that's the reality.

That’s a matter of semantics. By “no reason” I meant “no good reason”. I’m well aware that CPS can’t just abduct children at the drop of a hat. At the very least an unwitting parent not fully cognizant of their rights needs to let them in.
