It's not like I advocate every addict use LSD all the time. But injecting a gram of mexican black tar heroin every day is likely to kill you within a few months or less. Especially given the history of failed attempts at rehab/getting clean. If it was a stage of cancer, it would be stage 4. Aside from it being a super high dose, it's also extremely dirty and likely to be mixed with things like fentanyl.

Assuming the person was not just a compulsive liar, and was actually doing the amount she was, any harmful effects from LSD (depersonalization, derealization, potential for latent schizophrenia to surface) would be small potatoes compared to imminent death.
