The new info is that we now know who JF cheated with (Diana Xie) and that the same girl later collaborated with JF's ex-wife in the divorce/child custody proceedings.
That's not news a few pages earlier the same was stated, it's known for some time now.

Curious detail I noticed about JF that no one seems to have seen. On one of the pages Godspeed's doxes of JF, there's a curious detail mentioned in court and, while there's obviously a better source somewhere else, you can find it here: https://youtu.be/kqVCcSTxPh4?t=1817 (time is 30:15-30:17)

The interesting text is this:
"11. During the Plaintiff's pregnancy, the Defendant attempted to schedule multiple appointments with various OBGYN offices throughout the triangle area and upon learning that they would not meet with him, accused all offices of discrimination and even threatened legal action against Duke Hospital...."

Sounds to me(and I may be wrong) like he tried to force the girl to get an abortion. If that's the case, then it would make a lot of sense why he lost that custody battle and has zero visitation right. If this is true, this would explain why he keeps saying he really wanted a kid so no one would realize why he got creamed in court.

Maybe I'm wrong but I feel this needs to be brought up.

I remember Zoom reading the line but thought, "shit JF is exceptional enough to think he needs an OBGYN", but that explanation makes alot more sense.

It could be abortion-related, but I interpreted this as JF's typical MO of being controlling and over-managing things. He also posted on Facebook after attending a "Dad's convention" (?), showing a stockpile of "parenting" swag that he picked up. Seems like he was in favor of the pregnancy, or at least trying to give that outward appearance of "hey look I'm a dad guys".

The detail of most interest to me in the JF saga is why he left Duke. We have varying stories across the board, ranging from "being kicked out" all the way to his self-reported triumphant exodus from academia. Diana Xie states that she was present when JF quit, implying it had the appearance of being willing.

What is almost certainly false is the claim that JF was kicked out due to "inappropriateness with an undergraduate". This happens quite a bit, and is unlikely to be grounds for dismissal by itself. If there was a complicating factor, related to them living together, weapons, or whatever, Diana Xie's presence at JF's "quitting" would make sense. Dismissal with cause in academia is usually handled by an HR rep telling the person that they have a choice: 1) walk away, no questions asked, 2) go through internal due process with judgment rendered. Option #1 is always better for the university, to avoid publicity, and is usually better for the person involved. Having even a whiff of sex-related investigation on you would be a death knell in academia, unless your research is dumping money in the university's coffers. (In which case, you'd be amazed what is permitted.)

Ah well, it is interesting, for sure.

I remember someone a few pages back said that he didn't get fired as much as he just didn't get renewed for the position. If thats the case then it could be seen as a "kick out" in a really low key way, and JF just used it as a way to say he did this himself.

Everything I can find suggests that JF was asked to not come back. Which is basically a nice way of being told to quit without the controversy of being fired.

Now here's something very special I found: traces of a deleted youtube vid titled "Elora Patoine, 20 ans, est Arrêté toute nue en plein centre ville avec son violon !". This translates to "Elora Patoine, 20 years old, is Arrested fully naked downtown with her violin!" And her CouchPotato profile mentions nakedness and violin! Props if anyone finds the video. I mean she should be a cow on her own merits ffs!
I'll just leave this here https://www.liveleak.com/view?t=eLBJ_1550435811
