He hasn't done those things yet because Trump's a super duper secret Nazi who is just waiting for us to let our guard down before implementing these hateful policies or some other conspiratorial bullshit like that. Deep down in the foulest, blackest parts of their hearts they know that Trump is litcherally Hitler and needs to be stopped, reality be damned. They'll be spouting this type of garbage until they're blue in the face and I say just sit back and enjoy as they make complete asses of themselves.

The funny thing is that Cher stopped getting so much coverage for her political commentary because she started calling the DNC out for being insane, briefly. They dropped their glowing coverage of her and started to give her a preview of fading back into obscurity, most likely explaining the more demented-than-usual TDS sperging.

The more I think about, I can see this as the Democrats starting to distance themselves from celebrities who will go on TDS that hurts both their career and their party.
Smollett is apparently a huge virtue signaler for the Democrats. I think there was a picture of him with Kamala Harris.

It's definitely hurt her and Spartacus that they were such early, loud defenders of his story, really leaning pretty hard on it in their early campaigning, and then suddenly this happens. I wouldn't say it's sunk either of them (as much as either of them were ever afloat in the first place) but it's definitely put at least a small dent in their hull.
I wouldn't expect them to learn their lesson from this, though. They never do. The next time there's something like this, they'll just try to coordinate the news cycle "better".

I love how he just puts on glasses to attempt to make himself look smarter; which doesn't work given he did win Worst Journalist of the Year and does not know how Black Holes work. Oh, I can tell you guys a funny little game I cooked up involving the Fake News Network while getting some food after a long work day.
Like most businesses that inflate their view count hideously so, they had a TV that had CNN silently playing in the backdrop with no one at all actually fucking watching it, but a few glimpses of Chris Cuomo made me laugh quite a bit. At every point I'd glance back, he looked just as close to tears or crying than I've ever seen, which leads me to this: Take a sip of a drink, booze or not-booze, every time you suspect the clearly homosexual anchor in front of you is about to suffer a complete and utter emotional meltdown in front of an audience smaller than the people that watch Yogi Bear reruns. It's a full shot if the deranged maniac they call a guest also looks like they might kill themselves or go spree killing the news room too.
