This is their entire modus operandi. Find some tiny niggling soundbite, declare victory and act like the ship isn't sinking around them.
And the thing that is astonishing is just how incredibly transparent his puffed up lies are. "Have you ever filed a lawsuit or been involved in litigation" "Why yes! yes! absolutely!" It's like asking a pimply faced teenager if he's ever had sex. If he was ever a litigant or even subjected to a deposition he would never have gotten on an adversarial stream with a known lawyer. It's not the sort of thing you willingly do twice.
