I like that Eichenwald-lite practically admitted on-camera shady shit was happening at his cons many years ago that they swept under the rug, and yet in a previous shaky breath he's made empty threats to send Vic's people an email detailing "rules" in order to invite him back to his con in October. Doubt that was ever a thing, but it's not happening now anyway.

People are going through his twitter and archiving shit. There are accusations of deletions in Nick's chat, but i can't confirm, caught this posted in chat. Vic's friend, who Vic should trust and will definatley invite Vic back to conventions posted this. Even as a joke these shitposts look like great information for Vic lawyers and now he might have to do just that.

Another thing that Shane guy mentioned about 10-20 years ago, things were "different". 10-20 years ago unsolicited hugs and kisses (what Vic was accused of) were still considered a bad thing, like did I sleep through the years when they became even worse? I mean I know its "rape" now to misread signals..but shit, unless Vic is autistic or mental, I doubt if someone said they were uncomfortable with it, he wouldn't just second guess his every action since and make sure he got permission for it.

He's right things were different though, I remember hearing about the furry con where a woman got naked and fucked a plushie equipped with a dildo right there on the cold concrete floor of the con about 20 years ago. Everyone gathered around and watched until she finished and nothing happened. At least, that's how I heard the story at the time. Back then the con wasn't mainstream, it was usually full of the outcasts of society before they had any internet, or mail order anime figures, or mobile phone video. So who knows what could go on?

Nick aint the hero we need, but the hero we deserve. Least to entertain us with all of these lolsuit's taking place over the past year or two.

EDIT: I'm a huge sucker for the cheesy old Batman and superhero gimmicks. Especially when it comes to the Riddler. I always imagine the goofiest versions of him.

Yeah but those are furry cons, a con about their deviancy, at least the other cons or gatherings that shit is kept in small like 98% consensual groups of a bunch of repressed deviants releasing steam. Burning man has their STD ridden orgy tents, MAGfest still has their sonic orgies, MTG cons have their Black Lotus wank fests, GDQ had their Tolki gangbangs. I mean things were different, but are still the same.

They just want to control the shit now more so than ever to be the new gatekeepers, and any older ones just feel guilty about that shit because they're supposed to because the new age religion dictates they should feel guilty about that.

thinking about it makes sence these con goers think they are self important, cons are like churches in that its a way for people to gather around, just in a much less wholesome way, it only makes sence it seems to be viewing themselves as religious in nature.
