Well so far all they've really accused Vic of at the most is assault. If they are telling the truth, then they are currently covering for serial rapists because they won't bring ad revenue. If they are lying, they killed someones career in an industry because they don't like him.
So either way they look like trash.

This whole clusterfuck could have been easily avoided if Fumination, RoosterTeeth, and whoever else is involved in this drama released a statement essentially stating the following:
"We at (X) Corporation regret to announce that we are parting ways with voice actor Vic Mignogna. Mr. Mignogna has been known to engage in contact with fans at conventions that we at (X) do not consider to be appropriate. Despite speaking to Mr. Mignogna several times over many years about potentially changing his interactions with fans to be in line with what we deem acceptable, Mr. Mignogna has not changed his behavior. It is with a heavy heart that we let Mr. Mignogna go, and we wish him best in his future endeavors."
I mean, that's basically what they wanted to do anyways. Some people considered Vic to be overly handsy, and it made some people uncomfortable, so they let him go. Why make it any more dramatic than that? There's really no need to strongly imply the man is committed some form of sexual assault, especially when there doesn't appear to be any.

As has been pointed out multiple times they barely had to do that. They could've just gone to the end of his contracted term of employment and just quietly parted ways and kept their fucking mouths shut.
Funimation hasn't kept their mouths shut at all and their VAs and even some of their management has been screaming the house down to be believed for realsies.
Rooster Teeth (owned by AT&T after a few degrees of separation) has a lot of old school PR managers in the system and simply issued a bland statement they were parting ways. This is during the down time between RWBY seasons and so can be done with little to no recourse and blowback. A good chunk of their VAs in RWBY hold other actual roles inside the company, not just VA roles, so will have different contracts to that of VA's like Jessica Nigiri or Vic. So far as I am aware fucking nobody from there has said a damn word.

After all this stuff so far, I'm leaning more towards Vic being in the right here. Jesuotaku, Marzgurl, the funimation VA's and crew, have been acting way too shady about this whole matter for me to take the accusations at face value. If there was an honest issue, it would be quietly handled. Not handed over to Beth Elderkin "because it brings clicks", the whole thing smells like a giant scam to rid themselves of an anti-LGBT supporter while lining them and their friends pockets at the same time.
The only problem left is I'll have to wait until the actual court proceedings start and hopefully they'll upload video of themselves crying on Twitter because they lost all their weeb shit paying for court costs.

Well there was a video initially, but it was discovered later the person involved edited together the entire thing to make Vic look bad and then deleted their entire social media when someone uploaded the unedited footage. That's what I meant by shady.
