I'm talking about the professional cosplayers, the ones that bilk incels out of their money. They seem like attention whores and the bottom feeders of fandom.

But honestly, even she is of the opinion that a lot of the "pros" are insufferable. She used the term "cosfamous" when I broached this very subject.

The thing is, most people don't know the names of the good cosplayers who are professional, simply because they don't get involved in drama, so their names never appear outside of the cosplay enthusiast circles. You've probably seen their stuff in "top ten cosplays" though.

Most of these convention colleagues do not know anything about the law so honestly it's not surprising that these fucks haven't understood nor learn that "Maybe saying that I dated these shitheads is actually opening the door for me to be bias". They never took public speaking courses in their whole life or at least knowledgeable on how to run a business actually. Convention Owners or anyone who wants to claim "ceo" over a fucking event like a jackass does not understand how to do public relations well or at all. Not buying it. When you are a public figure knowing the basics of defamation law needs to be basic knowledge. You function in a career that hinges on reputation, where a defamation lawsuit could cost you millions. Those idiots at ANN for damn sure should have known better. If they are still ignorant of the situation it is willfully ignorant.

This entire mess is demonstrable for why SJWs want to set up separate courts like title 9 boards and human rights commissions. They know their bullshit will melt like a snowflake in a Volcano if they tried to pull it in formal court.

Very very VERY few of the bitches you're describing can put food on the table from just cosplaying. The REAL money is from camwhoring, adult photoshoots, et cetera. Momokun is an example. The cosplaying at cons is just the cocktease to get horny weebs behind their paywall.

I really don't understand it... I'm a nobody and I know what slander and libel is. I don't remember who taught me, if it was my parents or at school, but somehow I learned that you don't go around saying crazy crap about people or you're going to get sued.

I've met Mother's Basement's girlfriend at a convention once. As far as 18+ cosplayers go, she's pretty friendly and easy to talk to. I've also never seen her sperg out on Twitter the way Geoff does besides retweeting some of his viewpoints.
