Why in the mother of fuck would you hold on to an ace up your sleeve, that could've gotten Vic quietly escorted out of the building and never return? With no possibility of getting legal support? With iron clad fucking evidence you could nail him to the wall with? Without harming you or your companies image?

Because Blackmail maybe? Or a piss poor attempt at it, anyway.

I mean. I really really hope they've not been dumb enough to Blackmail Vic in some way, or anybody in Funimation to try and get rid of him.

'cause then we go from "This is financially ruining" to "Financially ruining and 20 years in the slammer."

It's almost like he's talking out of his ass because he prioritizes saving face on Twitter over avoiding the long arm of the lawsuit. ?

So Mr Pillock you say we already helped them build a case? Our shitposts will win animuru gatu? Okey I need to tell future generations : Shadilay!

Nick's said the Farms basically has lawyer-levels of Autism archiving prowess, to the point he said he'd either link Beard etc here to come check out what we've sifted through ourselves or compile the archive links and boot them onwards.

This has nothing to do with the main issue, but I saw that Ian Sinclair is one of the people who got jobs after Vic left, apparently. Is he part of the sharks or not?

The problem here is I'm not sure which option is more stupid than the other.

It's true. I've only been actively following the farms for a few months now, but even a cursory look shows that this place is a lawyers wetdream for evidence gathering. Everything is screenshotted, archived, and timelines are established. And this shit is done for free/fun.

Does Ron even matter?

He sorta does, because he's married to Rial, and has been talking mad shit about Vic. Rial is very important because her and Marchi have the two allegations you can put actual names and faces to, instead of rando semi-anonymous internet shit.

From my perspective, it looks like Funimation and Rooster Teeth are the main targets.

They are, insofar as they have the $$$, and can strike a deal to put Vic back to work. But the secondary targets would prove useful in discovery to go after the mains.

One possibility is he doesn't have shit.

"Now, listen here, lawyer man... I have evidence that would hurt your client!"
"Okay, may I see it?"
"No! You need to drop the lawsuit first, and then I'll tell you how we can all help Vic over soy lattes."

He's doing a Shane, basically.

Not really since he doesn’t even seem to use twitter outside of promoting his own work or tweeting a random thing (mostly about food) with his last tweet being on the last day of January. The closest he’s got to being woke on twitter is just telling people to vote but not for anyone in particular.

Ya know, what we here country-folk call that?

Just straight up fucking Blackmail. "Drop the lawsuit or I'll tell the stuff I've been sat on but not told people because I'm so fucking nice."

Well they could just be like PULL, who thinks some videos with "look at these written allegations from anonymous twitter users, look at that man kissing underage girls without warning in public out of nowhere! He's a monster! Look at this confession he admits it! Everything we've done is to protect the children! CAN'T YOU SEE?!?!? It's got nothing to do with his barbaric pagan belief system. Sorry Ty Beard, you lost this one. I rest my case."

And then the Judge shits himself laughing

We're still in denial.

I think we hit bargaining when the Beard drops papers though. So, soon. Hopefully.

Bets on whether Ron even has a fucking thing?

Is this guy really so much of an idiot that he is willing to directly contact a law firm that is considering litigation against him and not have a lawyer of his own present to do the talking? This is basic fucking civics here. Everyone should know why this is a bad idea. Everyone!

EDIT

Fucking hell, he really is that stupid. :story:

I just rewatched Nick's video and couldn't find the bit about Jen Brown having hiring/firing influence. Could you point me in the right direction to find that?

Does Ron even matter? From my perspective, it looks like Funimation and Rooster Teeth are the main targets. Either to convince to go for an early settlement or hit for the big bucks. The rest of these VA's look like they're mostly destitute.

It begins about 1:56:51 or so. Short version is that Jen's initially thought to be a contractor and things get interesting. She flat-out declares him guilty (at around 1:58:39), and Nick gets into his theory on what's going to happen soonafter.

Please god yes. I want to see you get destroyed
