A family member worked for the Law Society here for a while (the body which regulates the profession). She said that at least once a week they'd get a complaint from someone who was pissed off that their lawyer was socialising with opposing counsel and should be punished for it. The general public has a really poor understanding of where their legal counsel's responsibilities to their clients begin and end.

This is why I'm pretty confident the keyboard lawyers from PULL are nothing to worry about.
If they are really lawyers, then they seem to be letting their personal bias overrule their professional opinion.
The REEEE is too powerful.

None of them are lawyers, and that chick is full of shit in claiming she's a paralegal.

Just an observation here, but I notice that PULL thread is actually moving really slowly. Way slower than ours. The only people they have left are probably the super diehards. Maybe it's just me, but I'm starting to feel like the morale of KickVic is in the toilet at this point. Ron is barely getting any likes on his posts, the more he continues. MarzGurl has really dialed it back. ANN hasn't published anything since their pathetic attempt to white-knight Samantha on the fake swating.

It's like they know something has gone horribly wrong.

Nah! As soon as Nick converted it to an IOLTA to the Texas firm GFM would be totally insane to mess with it. Soy Toye may shriek and moan and send nasty twitter messages. But crossing Ty Beard and company gets very expensive very fast. And would piss off and scare off Lawyers from using their platform for civil matters. Which has become a lucrative niche for GFM.

Now now don’t be so hasty. The Minnesota Bar enjoys a good laugh as much as the rest of us. I’m pretty sure they collect these all together and send them out to the members in order to give an award to the biggest idiot annually. Tommy Tooter is gonna be a hard one to beat for 2019.

I'm not even convinced they're a paralegal. Here, the main job of paralegals in legal research. You need a really good grasp of what is and isn't relevant because the lawyer is depending on what you've compiled for them being accurate and on point. Someone who can get something so basic so wrong is not going to be a good paralegal.

Maybe they're some kind of an administrative assistant with or without an inflated title.
 
One of the best pieces of advice ever given to me re: legal discussion (that is, giving speculative advice on the law, to or in the presence of a potential litigant), especially on the internet, is that if the first words that roll out of your mouth are "Well I'm not a lawyer," aren't followed by "...so you should contact one.", then you should just shut the fuck up and not say anything else. Because what you're about to say came off of an episode of Matlock or Perry Mason or The Practice, and is going to be wrong.

Sadly none of these people coming at Vic Mignona or trying to mock Nick Reikeita seem to have ever heard that, or if they did, they ignored it. Bar associations don't really recognize "I've seen every episode of Phoenix Wright." as authoritative sourcing.

Things keep going horribly wrong for them. This isn’t new. It’s been building steadily for the past two years. They just haven’t been paying attention. Many of the players surrounding this were also Change the Channel. That blew up in their faces. The targets of their ire ignored them, to no loss of business, while everyone that joined them mostly killed their “careers” and made themselves unemployable. All while unintentionally taking ownership and blame for the dead pedo rapist that they knew about.

This time they pulled out the #metoo card to drive out the Christian from their midst. And they suddenly find reality knocking. And reality is really expensive. They somehow missed when Listen and Believe became Produce Evidence and Litigate.
