How did Andy get a work visa in a month? How did he get sponsored to work here? Everything I've seen from my personal career experience is telling me he didn't bother getting a visa. With all the a-logs following these two, this is a hugely bad move.

After watching this shitshow unfold, I doubt any normal person will occupy that role. People who excel at this stuff generally have nothing to lose (e.g. Donga), which is why they have no problem risking total humiliation. By contrast, normal people usually have accomplishments, families, and robust social lives (e.g. Rekieta). Apart from that, IBS pays less than a normal, stable job, and takes a surprising amount of work (think of the hours spent following these events). TBH it’s hard to even justify IBS as a hobby.

Your best bet is someone like Jim—a neutral guy, with a good voice, who genuinely seems to enjoy watching this stuff as a hobby (rather than aspiring to be “king”). Also helps that he manages to somehow keep his life private.

My only guess is that if he had any sense, he told his manager what he is going to do, and his manager went through the hoops of filing his paperwork. Otherwise they’re both incredibly screwed.

Ask them about Dispatch or, better, someone who got banned without directly fucking with stream.me. It would be interesting to know if it’s a blanket rule for banned users or specific fuckery relating to Vordrak.

I'm willing to bet Andy got a tourist visa, which I believe gives him a maximum of 6 months in the US. I have no idea whether working on his channel would violate that or not, but I doubt it will become an issue in that time.
