This is so hilarious that I really don't want them to stop digging at this point.

I've got a question for the lawfags. Given that Monica is a fiancee and not a spouse, does any sort of privilege at all attach to communications between her and soye toye or will he have to disclose any and everything he knows about her role in this even if his evidence proves that she made shit up and conspired with others to have Vic fired for no reason?

To my knowledge none whatsoever. He’s just a dude. An easily available witness. And one that no court have a problem with compelling him to testify. It might actually be a better strategy to not sue Soy Toye and instead use him as a witness. This way he is not a defendant, and cannot refuse to answer anything, nor can he put forth his own commentaries or defense.

Ever since GamerGate you can always see these types play their hand just a little too soon. They hadn't quite gotten their claws into vidya like they had with comics before they tried their "Gamers are Dead" bullshit based on some commie research. So now they literally just published a book bragging about how to use fake MeToo allegations to destroy people, thinking that... what? No one not in the tribe would see it? That everyone would go YAS SLAY KWEEN over them attacking the gender and race they hate? That literally everyone agrees with them?

I do rather wish we could figure out who the author of DAMN is, though. Because she claims to have a doctorate (which probably means she has a Gender Studies degree) and works as a HR consultant.

I wouldn't want to be the corporate counsel who found out their fat, smelly, blue haired "HR Consultant" who convinced them to hire an incredibly overpriced "diversity consultant" who doesn't do anything except bitch and post on twitter, and fire a bunch of white people and men over rumors, who are now suing because whoops, the stupid cunt literally wrote a book on how faking this shit is AWESOME.

I also would love to see if say, Riel or Marzgurl's Amazon purchase history contains DAMN. Because... well... That would be... interesting.

I’m on Vic’s side, at least until there is actual evidence against him and I direly hope these idiots get some legal help. It’s just not funny to watch this, they aren’t a challenge or a serious threat in any way besides using their connections and whining to get things to happen their way.

The only reason Gamergate really failed was simply the fact that most of the dangerhairs and SJWs are fucking talentless hacks who don't know how to code for shit. So were never inside the corporations too deeply.

If you look at every failed "fuck you gaymerz!" campaign by a studio or people within it, it's always the dumb shitheels who really are not vital to nuts and bolts operations of corporations. They're idiots like Hamburger Helper who write stuff, they're in the PR department or they're outside it all writing away as journalists who suck at playing games. (See Cuphead and Devil May Cry 5's demo).

Then we had Mass Effect: Andromeda where the dangerhairs were allowed to go ahead and make a game of an already rotting carcass franchise and the end result was fucking gales of laughter and "Sorry, my face is tired" because the face motion artists were too busy tweeting about intersectionalism to do their fucking jobs properly. End result was everybody got fired because it lost them a lot of money.

While they're deep inside one dubbing company as evidence by the bitchy Texas Clique all this is doing is letting a more ruthless businessman order a clearance burn to fix things. These morons are going to start hurting the bottom line very soon and boy it'd be giving corporate an excuse to help manage a transition to "acceptable standards."

Only if someone smart at Sony (if there is such a thing) realizes it's time to clear out all the deadwood right now.

Or (only slightly more likely) some competitor takes advantage of the shitshow going on to poach their contracts by convincing the anime overlords from grorious Nippon that Funimation is fucking up so badly they need a better company to work with.
