I think it mainly has to do with the fact that almost all the people that were able to dig up and expose the most substantial dirt on her had the unfortunate habit of committing suicide via unloading an entire tube magazine of a Mossberg 500 in the backs of their own heads and then hide the gun before they croaked.

On a slightly less hyperbolic note on her with that, it's stuff like that why I felt like Lock Her Up was just a massive pipedream: Yes, she, her family and her Foundation are basically a de facto Mafia family that have broken every law under the sun, but the problem is they have so much brand recognition and have held the DNC's purse strings that it's pretty much promised that they'll never be behind bars

But on the other hand, letting them stay free is probably a much better strategy solely due to the fact that Clinton has zero ability to shut up and say whatever crazy shit that comes to mind, being great GOP campaign ad material
