Whoever his therapist is should lose her license. How in god's name did it get to this? What happened to "B-b-but it's so HARD for twans to get HRT!" This boy has only had "dysphoria" (more than likely teenaged angst that every single teenager goes through) for, by his own admission, less than 6 months, and he's ready to drink the horsepiss kool-aid the second the clock strikes midnight on his 18th birthday- and there is a doctor out there that is skeevy enough to give it to him. Hope his parents know.

Plenty of those therapists are greedy, unethical scumbags, but I think that even the ones who still have a moral compass left are stuck between the hammer and the anvil.

Don't approve of putting this random neckbeard loon who came to cry in your office on hrt ? You've done the right thing, but you're going to get the troon mob sicced on your ass and your reputation will be destroyed because denying an obviously mentally-ill man his fantasy of being a dainty little girl is a crime against humanity. Plus you just know one of your less morally-upstanding colleagues will put the guy on hrt anyway.

One of my friends (who is currently identifying as non binary) mentioned to me this weekend that he potentially plans to go on HRT. There should be gatekeeping here, but I know there won't be.

This guy is a 6'5" former rugby player, so passing would happen never, but he's not an autogynephile--he's a mess. Single mom who abandoned him multiple times as a kid, caught messing around with guys as a teen and was not the most positively received, diagnosed with BPD, is 28 and dating an 18 year old girl but when he was 19 he was engaged to a 30 something guy, claims to be asexual despite having too many sexual partners to be able to count them all, and just got rejected from every PhD program he applied to, which I think is the likely catalyst for this HRT desire. Nobody should give him hormones! But I know they will if he asks.

This other kid I know apparently wants to transition. He doesn't even do the very basic female hygiene expectation of, you know, washing and combing your hair on a regular basis. I'm hopeful that once he meets his internet girlfriend like he plans to and gets laid he'll realize being a guy is okay.

Just caught up on this thread and the photos of some of those neovaginas... :cryblood: How the fuck could any surgeon be ok with putting their name on that? Bleurgh.

I'm Canadian and this shit being covered by our health care system pisses me off. No minimum age, either. The reason why people with body dysmorphia aren't encouraged to mutilate themselves with multiple plastic surgeries is it doesn't fucking work.
