The funny thing is, in his post-Ty nuclear rant, Nick did give a believewomen thing. To paraphrase: "If you came to me with your metoo story, I would listen, I would believe, and I would offer counsel. but the second you ruin someone else's life, you don't get it anymore. It doesn't just affect you."

Which is so reasonable compared to blind belief, you wonder why it ever became a problem in the first place.

These types of people want control and submission. They want to be able to say "this man raped me" or "this person is a racist" and have them out of the picture. It's the same mentality that drives the bad side of people in powerful positions. "I'm in charge, I can abuse whoever I want and get away with it." Granted, #MeToo is not about people who have hard power, bu that's why they're attracted to it. They see a legitimate perpetrator getting strung up in the court of public opinion and getting blacklisted and figure they can use that dishonestly to eliminate their competition. It's sociopathic opportunism that is observable in many periods throughout history.

The more reasonable voices or the liars (depending on your perspective) will insist that isn't the case, but it's demonstrably bullshit.

She has come out an intellectual discipline that rejects reason itself as a tool of the western patriarchy, and dissent is actively discouraged by extreme measures. She cannot comprehend a world where people disagree with her, let alone one that could punish her for acting her beliefs out. She is exhibit A for how social justice academics programs people into NPCs

I'd like to see them try to get content here taken down because they classify it as harassment. It'd be a nice way for Josh to practice more creative ways of telling people to fuck off via e-mail.
