The Killstream was fun because it was a shitshow of arguing and sperging. The most famous Killstream was them bullying a guy into submission.
Why would anyone listen to them otherwise? Noone cares about Ralph reading the news with Gator using a shit tier soundboard. If you want someone to read out the news to you there's many other channels like it.

Every Killstream moment ever brought up is something about drama. Nobody says "remember that time they went over the border wall, what an informative yet entertaining segment." Yeah they read the news, but if Ralph seriously thinks avoiding drama is going to retain an audience much less draw new people he's gotta rethink his strategy.

Then again this "we're not doing drama" really just means they aren't going to cover Ralph's drama, which is even worse. Remember what hurt MundaneMatt was his channel was very anti censorship and the flagging made him a hypocrite. Well if a drama show goes radio silent when it's time to discuss their drama that's basically the same thing.

Ralph strikes me as a somewhat non-confrontational but finicky guy. My past roommate experiences (of which I have had many) make me think that whats most likely going to happen is Andy is going to go ahead and do or say something without talking to ralph first. I see it all the time when best friends move in with each other. "Oh ralphs cool. He wont mind if I do X." And with enough of andy unintentionally stepping on toes? Ralphs gonna flip. Andy isnt going to feel like its his fault since ralph never said anything in the first place.

Between all of these shitty internet friends and ralphs inability to roll with the drama? It really looks like a pressure cooker full of shit ready to go off, to me.

See the problem is if it's going to be a news/political show, you're already spoiled for choice as it is. There are a ton of shows both mainstream and off the beaten path that do this with your preferred political bend, so unless he really puts in the legwork or focuses on a niche subject to specialize in (I believe Ralph was really adamant about ending the drug war and legalization back in the day, maybe that could be the subject of focus), not many want some reheated takes that they can get piping hot somewhere else.

I believe I had called in previously and discussed the logistics of creating a streaming platform - and with a few others had setup a simple test server. Nothing too serious.
