That’s what I find bafflingly with Captain Marvel. The critics who gave it a positive review know they it wasn’t that great but don’t want to admit it.

As for Bob, I feel James Gunn’s firing might have influenced his reaction to the film, though I’m underestimating his worship of the MCU.
