Think this was Nick passive aggressively pointing out that it was more than just a little oopsy on iTunes. Vic was removed not just on iTunes, but Google Play, as well as in FMA credits AND from RGBT's credits.
Here's an open secret you probably already know. When there's a "bug" around these things, it's really a problem between the chair and the keyboard of one of their employees.

You make it sound like civil conspiracy.

Edit:
Re: Conmunity: Props to Nick, he's controlling the narrative at cons now too.

Lots of blue hairs keep walking out of the room on the right edge of the stream. ...though the hair might be cosplay.

I'm going to watch the replay of the stream...constantly timing out.

Apple employee reached out to Nick anonymously and pointed out the credits are 100% dictated by Funimation, and Apple employees can't even make typos without getting in trouble.

i.e.,

Was absolutely right. Someone at Funimation and RWBY went through and told Apple / Google to remove Vic from the credits listings for their shows.

Keep driving up those damages and making this all look even more conspiratorial and sneaky than it already looked.

That can't possibly backfire.

Just all keep doing exactly what you're doing.

This is exactly the vibe I got. Not only is Nick feigning nice about the oopsie, but pointing out that this little oopsie happened spontaneously across a few platforms. For companies being looked at by Primarch Tyberius and his Amazons of Doom, you think they would have a special eye on anything related to Vic which could hurt them legally. So they are either very negligent about what happens, or...
