Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

This phrase makes my skin crawl, though I’m not completely sure why.

Women and other non-privileged people have no agency in the religion of social justice. When you have power, you have responsibility, therefore if things are bad, it’s your fault. When you lack power, you lack responsibility, so you search for change through others. You shouldn’t have to live like this. This creates a need to make your suffering as visible as possible, since you must rely on others to change the world for you.

However, the solution isn't to give more power to the oppressed, as that would violate the law of privilege. It blames the issues that arise from unequal power on the side with all the responsibility: the privileged. Patriarchy? Men’s fault. When women support it, we say they’ve simply internalized the messages of men, and then condescendingly absolve them of any responsibility or agency.

Here's someone losing her shit because her friend likes different music than her:

Wish I had so few problems in my life that someone else's music preferences were all I had to meltdown over. It's fucking pop music. Get over yourself.

It’s a passive-aggressive and actually very female way of saying, “everyone is valid, except for our political opponents who are women”. They probably hate them even more than the men.

So, Janel Parrish calls for collaboration in place of competition. That works effectively in small groups of people with a common goal. When working with larger groups and goals that compete for resources, it's a fast route to an entirely polarized "us" vs. "them" dynamic in which the sum of the parts is less than any whole, because of all the resources drained into building each inevitably competing faction and those consumed afterwards in the conflict.

By the way, when men do this it's castigated as group-think supported by yes-men.

This phrase makes my skin crawl, though I’m not completely sure why.

Amanda Litman (above) is giving us an almost literal "No True Scotsman" fallacy, claiming that "No (true) man would ever second-guess his qualifications".

Ms. Litman, would you like to know why all the men in your life are douchebags? Hint: You're surrounding yourself with men who've never considered that they may not have been the right person for their positions.

But then we end up with "We'll train you up"? Really? If women have no need to question their qualifications, precisely why should they rely on Run For Something, if they're qualified for the elected office? To me this reads as: "We're here to convince you that you owe everything you'll ever achieve to us, making the power that you've worked for ours to claim, not yours, which we'll assign as our 'movement' demands! Should you disagree, we'll use everything you've put into our power against you."

Somebody ask this bitch if she wants to listen to Stanley Clarke’s School Days or Billy Cobham’s Spectrum with me, or maybe Duke Ellington’s album with Mingus and Roach, I bet she could learn a thing or two about black music.

I can take or leave most of Michael Jackson's oeuvre, and wouldn't recognize Missy Eliot if she walked into my house.

But I'm listening to Thelonius Monk's Solo CD right now, calms me down when I'm stressed, even though I'm honestly not a huge Jazz guy overall. Do I like or hate black music? Or even worse, am I guilty of cultural appropriation? :\

I've been reading up on things about Radical Feminism in Korea, it's pretty...... out there.

WOMAD (Korean: 워마드) is a radical feminist online community based in South Korea.

In 2016, multiple posts appeared on the site, claiming that they have killed men with titles such as "I fed men coffee mixed with car antifreeze liquid", "I killed a man by pushing him into a reservoir" and "I aborted a male baby."[12] The Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency and the Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency started an investigation after receiving police reports on 28 July 2016. Several shutdown requests have been made against the community, but Daum Kakao dismissed the requests stating that "some posts have been hidden, but there is insufficient illegal activity within the community to shut it down".

On November 19, 2017, an anonymous member wrote a post on the WOMAD forum claiming that she had raped an Australian boy.[13][4][14][15] WOMAD members showed support for the writer, leaving comments saying that they would pay to watch the videos of the sexual assault. News of the post quickly spread online and a petition was started on Cheong Wa Dae’s bulletin board requesting that the person responsible be caught.[16] On November 20, 2017, a 27-year-old Korean woman identified as "Areum Lee" was arrested by the Australian Federal Police in Darwin, Northern Territory in relation to the incident. The suspect is charged with producing child abuse materials.[17][18][19][10] AFP announced that she will remain in custody until a court hearing scheduled for mid-January 2018.[20]

It all started when an anonymous user, claiming to reside in Australia, wrote a post on the Womad forum on Sunday Nov. 19, where the user, whose identity cannot be linked definitively to the woman arrested by Australian police, detailed having abused a young boy.

Womad, a controversial South Korean feminist website, is a forum often described as misandrist. Last year, the site was created when the founding members splintered away from Megalia, another feminist site, after the latter decided to ban any derogatory slurs against gay men.

The user claimed to work at a place with an outdoor swimming pool and accommodation facilities. There, the user claims to have ground a sleeping pill and mixed it into a cup of orange juice, giving it to a young boy that came out to play by the pool at 11 p.m.

The user then goes in detail about sexually abusing the unconscious boy, including touching his genitals. The Womad post is filled with letterings equivalent to “lol” and includes a screenshot of the user’s computer desktop purportedly showing a folder containing seven videos of the alleged assault dated to Nov. 18. One video icon in particular shows male genitalia.

The post ends with the user saying that the videos could not be uploaded, because Womad did not allow it. The original post has now been deleted but is still accessible via a webpage capture site. In it, other users can be seen asking to send them the video of the alleged abuse.

A few hours after the Womad posting, members of the far-right website Ilbe tried to track down the user’s identity, ultimately claiming it was a South Korean feminist YouTuber ‘Australia Gookja,’ who was known to have supported Womad in the past.

The evidence, the Ilbe members claimed, was in a video (now deleted) that Australia Gookja had uploaded, showing the background of her computer to be identical to the desktop background of the alleged sex assault screencapture posted on Womad.

Australia Gookja denied the claims, saying she’d take legal actions against those spreading false rumors.

On Nov. 20, the day of the unknown woman’s arrest by Australian police, Gookja broadcast a live stream of herself on her sub-YouTube channel, denying the Ilbe accusations and seeking 3 million won (approx. US$2,700) to mount a defamation court case against the accusers.

During the stream, the sound of police entering her house can be heard asking for her identification. The video then goes silent.

The site it derived from, Megalia, has a thread in community watch. It died almost immediately after it was created though https://kiwifarms.net/threads/daughters-of-megalia.25416/

Are you literally exceptional? They’re humans, not rabid mountain lions that live to oppress you.

That's the thing - feminists that believe in Patriarchy Theory honestly believe that a multi-millennia, highly intentional, uniform conspiracy exists, and it's sole goal is to oppress women. You can almost imagine the smoke coming out their ears when you ask them to explain how it's possible for every single woman in history to have had such an overwhelming case of Stockholm Syndrome that they would willingly and purposely indoctrinate their sons to oppress and abuse women, and their daughters to accept it.

They'll swear that women have agency, and go out of their way to claim that women are simpleminded, easily manipulated idiots that men dominate without effort.

Megalia the website, was shut down in 2017, after which, Womad, became the main site, as it's user flocked there.

And in 2018 an assault case occurred, with the women involved having some connection with womad. Which resulted in a petition being started against womad.

Speaking of idiot SJWs, Anita Sarkeesian is seen here, walking back a tweet where she sounds like a halfway normal person, instead of the exceptionalist feminist she seems dedicated to portraying on the internet.

And now I remember why I despise commies - https://twitter.com/ClaraSorrenti/status/1101887820552196097

I swear to christ, I'm not sure how much more wrong about human nature a single person could be.

(edited to include the 2nd exceptionalist)

"People like this don't like the pioneers of music. They don't respect the source of the sound. They love plastic. Imitation. Fake."

I'll bet she isn't a fan of Irish traditional music--the source of American musical traditions since 1717, when an assload of Irish were dumped into the South alongside those dark-skinned slaves and brought their instruments with them.
