He would find a lot of his fans autistic, most certainly. But he's playing it right IMO. He still engages with them in a friendly manner, doesn't send them on countless gay ops, finds the gems in his audience by getting them to make OC (which is a great way to interact and make content anyway) and up until just before stream/me died was putting out a good amount of content even if it wasn't what everyone liked.

What's really interesting is I say anything about Jim and it gets shared. This post will be screencapped and sent to Jim. No one should care what I think about Jim, we're not friends, we're not friends of mutual friends, we do nothing together and our streams are not a zero sum game. I hold zero influence over Jim and he holds zero influence for me. But, because people hold such a religious reverence for the guy, saying anything about him is blaspheme. This is also Dame's second attempt to instigate some sort of feud.

Jim doesn't bother me. What bothers me about basically every e-celeb I've ever spoken to is their obsession with Jim. They want to know what he's doing, what he thinks of everything, who he likes and who he doesn't like. Any extended conversation with any person who streams has at least one mention of Jim. It becomes a speculation game where people start wagering what his takes are, whose side he's on, who he likes and who he doesn't like. Why has he gone silent? When will he come back??? How will he come back?????????? What are his REAL motivations and what does he want to achieve??????????????

It's just fucking pathetic, celeb worship is fucking pathetic, e-celeb worship is extremely fucking pathetic, and if you're getting mad at me for saying it's pathetic you're an especially sad person.

No but really there's definitely an unhealthy cult vibe amongst his audience. When you take into account just how often he's nuked his internet identities, it seems doubtful that he wouldn't hate the vast majority of his fanbase. When you just want to laugh at autistic shit on the internet and people keep trying to turn you into a leader of some gay movement, it's only natural to do so. Of course you shouldn't expect giant aspies to read between the lines but at least Jim handles it as well as anyone could have.

That's somewhat clear. He has a big audience and crossing paths with him can be damaging. But what I don't understand is speds, who hate other internet famous people, obsession with him. Like with Ralph, Jim tweets about Ralph and Andy going to jail and they go like "OMG, JIM DISAVOWED!!!1". Well, firstly, to disavow you need to swear allegiance before that and AFAIK he didn't do it to anyone. Secondly, he tweeted about Reckieta being drunk on stream and what? He then laughed, when Nick roasted that "I-know-Vic" guy. He either laughs with you or at you and if the latter is prevalent, then you should rethink your decisions.

The obsession surrounding who he does and doesn't "like" makes sense though, as far as other streamers/internet personalities are concerned. You said it yourself, the guy has a massive following of slavering autists. He basically made the Kumite a big deal and after that pretty much did the same for the Killstream.

I'd be more demoralised and annoyed by those cocksuckers pseudo hero worshipping him than by his actual fans if I was Jim. The fans are one thing, you pat their heads and say 'yes, yes, well done with that superchat (and thanks for the DUI money)' and move on. The other 'content creators' though is another story, Jim's very popular but he's probably one of the most 'simple' guys out there in terms of what he wants, and you can tell he doesn't want people constantly trying to weasel into his good graces, or namedrop him, or act so incredibly buddy-buddy when he basically doesn't fucking know them. And then when they turn on him like Tonka or Sargon they do it for some of the most retarded reasons on the planet. Is it any wonder he doesn't want any internet fwends when most of the candidates act like female highschoolers trying to impress and court the quarterback chad?
