Ugh man this is terrible, but I have a weird blend of emotions.

The first and most immediate. I hate western policies allowing for people who are at odds with the culture to come in, but killing or doing anything people who are just using the system as intended is horrific and wrong. Those are innocent, likely good people who were just horrifically slaughtered.

The second emotion is the laughs and anticipation of laughs at how that manifesto as well as the memes that are going to come/came from this are going to play in the media.

Hey all.

As some who used to live in Christchurch I have a bit of authority to speak on this. I no longer live there but was there for the quakes. I'm not a Muslim, however do have a few friends who use the mosque.

Edit: one of whom managed to escape unscathed. Her and her family were unharmed.

New Zealand is a country in which we don't get terrorists often, mass shootings aren't common if almost completely unheard off and most events of mass death are generally down to the ring of fire telling us to suck a fat one.

Edit: too the point where our cops don't normally carry guns. If you've ever seen What we do in the shadows - you're seeing a relatively accurate selection of a new Zealand cop. Generally it's on the Armed Offenders Squad (NZ equivalent of SWAT) to use guns.

Today is a dark fucking day and I don't give a shit what idiot religion these people subscribe too. These people were New Zealanders, had done nothing wrong and were at prayers. They were innocents and shooting a religious prayer on a day of worship is cheating.

The thing we should all remember here is that Brenton Tarrant was the absolute epitome of a coward and hypocrite who willingly and knowingly used the same tactics of the people he claimed to be defending his country against. He mercilessly slaughtered innocent people for a goal that had no hope in succeeding and will only have the opposite effect of what he intended to cause.

He was quite literally the very thing he hated and threw away lives for nothing.

If anything, he would have made a more positive impact for his cause by just killing himself and saying he couldn't bare to live in the world because of the problems he thinks it has.
So, if anyone here is planning a mass shooting; kill yourself instead of hurting others.
