Do you have any data supporting that claim? Hard science?

Men have subjugated other men by assigning the traits of 'demure, helpless, dependent' onto men. This is especially apparent in the maritime working class (18th century), where Captains would coerce Sailors into staying longer or their women wouldn't be 'properly provided for'. Using female names for ships is a more mild form of coercion - - it made the Sailors more loyal to their ships.

What I'm saying is this: men have promoted "facts" about women to further subjugate or otherwise disadvantage other men. I would not take the words of these men so readily.

There are few people I can manage to hate with a pure passion. Elliot Rodgers is one of them and this kid is getting pretty fucking close.
