I think it's the sheer scope of how many die that's unsettling. Gore-wise, no it's not like a Cartel video. Think one of the worst vids I'd seen was an ISIS execution where they put a homosexual in a cage and burned him to death.

Completely agree. It's not brutal at all, but all the memes, the sheer body count and the first person perspective makes it seem so surreal. It's hard to grasp the severity of the situation from the video alone.

Why are people jumping so quickly to shoot this poster down? Im not immediately convinced of anything, but he raises a very valid question, and there is little indication this is simply a mag that detached from his body and flew 3 meters down the hallway as he turned.

We shoot down dumb posters all the time. I've been shot down. It's horrific because of the content, not because it's gory. For most of it, it just looks like an FPS. That is what is most disturbing about it. Other than the instant where he's shooting someone begging for help, it could have been just an edgy mod of some sort.

A) because it is a sign of submission - Islamic countries treat women as second class citizens and instead of telling them to fuck off like the stronk wahmens they claim to be, they meekly don the suppression of their sex; or

B) projection - unlike people who say Islam is a violent religion still rooted in Abrahamic traditions, they're actively wearing hijabs to protest the Islamophobes despite the act being culturally insensitive like you stated.
