This is a bit egotistical to say but this is one of my favourite threads here - every time I come back there's something new to read
Anyway like/dislike and comment sections are now available again.
 
Can I just say that I love how this thread turns into a damn dick measuring competition on how to make Arin sounds like a bond villain, especially the whole "Ross is a slave into making Mario Maker levels for the Grumps". Also, anyone who thinks that Arin, the same constantly walking on eggshells over some jokes Arin, can genuinely act smug is low IQ.

And the doxxing thing is equally stupid, for the Grumps to somehow think that retards wouldn't flood this FAQ guy, and thinking the Grumps have that much of a vindictive goal as to wanting to harass a guy for making a bad walkthrough.

I honestly can’t remember if the walkthrough was bad or that Arin was too exceptional to understand what it was saying. If it really is that hard to talk and play games they should think about doing research beforehand. I don’t care if you play with a guide but at least understand what it is saying.

Money is on him being retarded. Cr1tikal never had much trouble talking with people and playing games on his streams, Oney never had trouble with his couch pals, I don't think Super Best Friends had much trouble.

Jon never had trouble to my knowledge... at least not to the extent Arin has. Arin is the embodiment of the phrase "Those who can't do, teach". He constantly criticizes and tries to educate people on game design while he himself cannot put it to practice.

By my understanding, it was both. The game had random spawns, which was obvious and mentioned elsewhere in the walkthrough, and the walkthrough wasn't comprehensive enough to explain every possible spot, so it wasn't all that helpful for completing the game, which is kinda its only purpose. But the Grumps were too exceptional to understand that basic fact, and were mad they couldn't find a comprehensive guide about a shitty 20-year-old game that children can figure out.

Think the latter part of that was due to them feeling like they needed to cover their own asses nearly 3 years later in Skyward Sword, despite originally apologizing for what happened, and then for some reason made it about not lynching them instead...?

I mean, I still don't think they were malicious about it, but it's not a good look regardless.

Actually, I'm almost willing to bet that we'll be hearing a few talking points that Pro-Jared brought up - Like, only 1/3rd of the game is good (the sonic stages), complaining about how they can't use the camera in the emerald shard stages, complaining about the story in the game, fawning over the Chao garden...

Oh, and of course, make the comparison to 06.

Bonus points if he complains about how he can't see what's coming up when the giant truck (oh, and complaining about how huge that truck is) chases sonic, and how there are invisible walls in the first boss fight.

50+ pages and only a few mentions of arin’s potential gender confusion? that’s pretty unlike us especially considering just how much evidence there is that he’s gonna troon out.
i remember a couple years ago there was a massive thread on /lgbt/ about it, with a bunch of MtFs saying that a lot of his behavior reminded them of their pre-transition selves. picking girls and using the “GIRL BUTTS R HOT” excuse is apparently a super common thing for closeted MtFs. same with the makeup and crossdressing, of course. not to mention the post he made on his livejournal about the dream he had where he had a woman’s voice. the rabbit hole goes very, very deep. i’ll try and find an archive of the thread or see if any other threads have been made in speculation because it’s amazing.

Oh no.
The shard hunting was better in Sonic Adventure 1, by a mile long shot. I'm expecting a nuclear meltdown when he gets to Knuckles and Rouge's respective space levels. Especially the Mad Space stage.

It doesn't matter how much 'evidence' there is that 'proves' Arin is a closeted trans person; it's not up to the masses to force that label on him based on their own speculations formed around his preferences/interests.

I'm not a fan of Arin's; I just hate it when people try to force labels on others. Until Arin himself comes out and identifies himself as such, others just need to lay off.

Mad Space is a level I can give a room temperature take on.
The computer very obviously lies to you eg: "it's high up" means "it's low down" means LOWEST SECTION OF LEVEL and you just have to pause the screen to read the reversed hints. Same rules apply for other emerald hunts then, just keep moving. Meteor Herd is less organized than Mad S[ace, neither are great levels but Mad Space is better.
We'll see if they can even figure out Death Chamber or Egg Quarters. I doubt they can beat this game, and them playing it screams a desperate ploy for viewers to me.

Almost 200K views, hell yeah.

And I'm sure rantgrumps is buttblasted. TBH I think as bad as the SA games have aged the gimmick has gotten so old at this point. I'm tired of hearing white bearded soyboys in their 30s/40s who grew up with Nintendo talking about how they couldn't get past a level in a game made for three year olds before doing the "fonee screem"

But 2oda...he can't play a game of hot and cold. Obviously it means the game is bad, and any opinion to the contrary should be rendered moot because Sonic is horrible.
