Here's the tweet I'm talking about again.

It was posted by me, back on page 55, when it first happened. I also gave analysis earlier this month, which I linked to in my post previous to this one.

This was my read on that as well, not to mention that I remember staff at dragoncon being really shitty regarding him back when i gopher'd as a teen. His name has literally been fucking mud behind closed doors for almost a decade solely because hes a straight christian that held bible study at cons and refused to sign copies of "wheres my piccolo".

I dont share his religion but its been noted time and time again to be a mitigating factor in how vic was given the irl shadowban (ie his coostars and constaff being sneks that were nice to his face). Ive only met him once but he looks like the kind of guy thats not soo much ignorant of how people actually think of him but more that he operates on the golden rule. Like how dare he do him without being persecuted for being a normie.

Just so I got this straight, @Captain Manning is talking about Shane and you are talking about Vic. You are both talking about how cons can hold grudges, right?

EDIT: Cougar'd

It was also old and crap. It needed to be entirely redone from scratch because Fox hacked the shit out of the show for TV broadcast.

That was bullshit Funimation fed people to make them support their Kickstarter scam. The original dub was produced unedited and then was later edited for Fox Kids. The original DVDs from Bandai had both the English and Japanese version. After fans complained, Funimation ended up including the original dub on their sets too.

I seriously think it's just cause Funimation wanted an excuse to redub it with their in-house actors at no cost. They likely could've gotten the actors back that were solely needed for the new scenes from the director's cut but that doesn't sell a kickstarter and would have had to pay for that with their own dime.

Ah okay. Good to know.

I know they fucked up the tier rewards. Like they gave the wrong anniversary date on a certificate that was given to some people. There was a lot of controversy over how unprofessional things were done.

If you want a proper anime Kickstarter, look at Animeigo.

No, don't criticize Allison because of her bad financial decisions. If she smartens up with her money I won't be able to feel good about being able to afford merch while having money on the side and not begging money in the internet with nothing to give back in return.

Turns out Vic was going to reprise his role like the previous person stated
But it would have been pretty hilarious if Sabat went out of his way to redub it out of spite

correction: Escaflowne was originally dubbed in Canada and Funi redubbed with their own cast due to the new scenes,so no one really reprised anyone in this redub

Good thing she's got her adult priorities established.
Imagine you're a Japanese MGTOW. You're so sick of these Japanese women and their immature behaviors. You wonder what it would be like to be with one of those elegant, smart, mature foreign women you see on TV and in movies. Then, one day, your dream comes true; you meet a beautiful young lady from America. She's a teacher, and she seems so much smarter and put together than the childish Japanese women you're used to. You two seem to really be hitting it off, and she takes the next step and invites you to her apartment. But you step in, kick off your shoes, and the first thing you see is…
