Edit 2 Electric Boogaloo: In the end Eevee defeats the kid with LOGIC and FACTS (and a lecture on all the ways minors can bypass restrictions placed by adults) and oh my fucking god the kid breaking into adult-only spaces is the major plot line of the entire game. They literally made a porn game to bitch about how mean and terrible minors are to adults in adult-only spaces. I'm genuinely shocked Papaya didn't come flying in at the final confrontation to call the kid Spaggleshit.

This, in particular, is funny to me. Glip/Eevee wants to tell us that most young characters look their actual age, in this same universe that depicts of all these little pygmy characters having sex. If Krypto and Mellie were standing next to each other, you would assume Mellie is the younger one, but we're supposed to just take the author's word that Mellie is an adult.

Unrelated to the age choices of the characters, I thought that the music was particularly bad this time around. There is an over-reliance on percussion instruments to drive the music forward and the melodic content is pretty much trash. I get that she's trying to get the same "wacky" aesthetic as her art and Floraverse world, but it just comes off as chaotic. Just pick up a music theory textbook and learn the basics; music should not be spontaneous. I usually find her stuff somewhat tolerable (though I may have had a small sample size), but this was particularly grating on the ears.

That said... they are implying that kids who make it into adult spaces are ingenious evil cyber hackers who are on government watch lists...? That's pretty exceptional. I am reminded of a tweet from a horrible tweet chain where Glip is taking a shit on Marl's victims:

What's notable is that Glip paints this event like it's some kind of huge ordeal, instead of business as usual for literally every online venue. Even non-porn-focused servers have minor roles, and I've personally seen the exact scenario Glip talks about played out half a dozen times. If this kind of thing gets your panties in a twist, you should bow out and find a manager who can handle your online community for you, because drama like this is normal. Normal community managers handle it gracefully instead of having meltdowns and making multiple porn series dedicated to how unjust it is.

Like Frogasm said, kids will be brats no matter what. Glip acts aghast every time they are expected to do the very bare minimum and they have the gall to say they "bend over fucking backwards to protect everyone?" And now, they made an entire video game to show how innocent and maligned they are and how kids are actually devious, conniving h4xx0rs out to get them personally.

You know what this attitude reminds me of? Susan Schofield. The mom who constantly fished for praise for heroically "parenting" her "violent, schizophrenic" kids, when the kids were completely normal and all she ever did was shove pills into them and spend the day watching Netflix. Neither she nor Glip had any idea what real kids are like and balked at the expectation that they act like an adult and put up with the stuff literally everyone else puts up with.

Yeah, kids can be aggravating. No, that doesn't mean you look good when you constantly bitch about them and make pornographic video games trying to pretend normal kid behavior is some kind of conspiracy.

Personally I'd say bringing in law enforcement or security would be better, just so you can protect yourself by never touching the kid. (Uhhh especially if you're some big titted sex beast Jesus Christ)
But not only that, she realizes this kid is to far into an "amorous zone". (Which context clues probably is like a red light district with supposedly more security.) So asking the kid to leave the shop is just them covering their ass, not caring about the kids safety. Which aligns pretty well with Glip's shitty moral compass.

If a minor acts like that, you just hecking BAN them. They can cry all they want, but if you have the power to remove them, don't try to convince them to leave, you just make them leave with the ban hammer. If they start whining in PMs, you block them. If they try to circumvent that, you can actually report them to Discord to get their account banned because at that point they probably need it.

I knew they just didn't care anymore, but this kinda seals the deal.

The game is probably the worst they've made yet. I understand there's multiple routes but on the one I ended up getting, just playing the game normally and getting a few in-optimal dialogue choices, it felt like the kid was way too much of the content.

Since I haven't seen it mentioned yet, one of the endings of getting rid of the kid (Krypto) involves Lexy, who had just gotten back from going to a tech convention (while wearing a special collar that turns her into rubber, how fun), getting super mad at this child for making Cerise cry, and then putting a red plastic button on them that has the word "NAUGHTY" on it. Krypto leaves almost immediately, and then Lexy reveals that the button was a cursed/enchanted artifact that makes the wearer afraid of the color pink. She also painted the back of the object pink, so if Krypto ever tries to remove it, or get someone else to remove it, they'll be too afraid to see the pink spot to actually have it removed. Cerise seems at least slightly concerned (all she says is "Lexy..."), but Lexy says "What? If they're as smart as they seem to think, I'm sure they'll figure something out."

My interpretation of this is her self-insert basically traumatizes a child because she sees it as the only way to make them go away. I'd provide screenshots, but that'd mean having to play the game again.
