I am a masochist.
I decided to sit through the six hour Zoom trial Ralph did last year. Andy and Ralph fucking up a pedo hunt for shekels is not new at all, that whole stream was a shitshow and no one who was grilling Zoom accomplished anything they set out to do (except for like one Aussie caller).
KoP and Diogenes of all people were trying to grill Zoom and they failed massively because they lied about how all this started. Fucking KoP basically gave up part way through and started playing vidya during a fucking pedo hunt.
At some point Donga comes in and acts really fucking obnoxiously the entire way through and challenges Zoom to wrestle wrestle. Andy is encouraging it as well.
There are some significant issues with how Zoom presented the story and even when they acknowledged it they didnāt have enough follow through to burn him on it. The way info was presented and details were fleshed out was so fucking poorly handled by everyone involved. And it was so very clearly an attempt at attention whoring over something potentially really fucked.
Zoom basically just exhausted everyone with complete misdirection bullshit. Ralph was/is far too lazy to moderate or look into anything.
1. He had random "friends" come in to defend his reputation. Most of these "friends" has had absolutely no idea what was going on and shamelessly plugged themselves are talked about pure non-sense. If you listen to it now it's all incredibly calculated and make think that Corey is a potentially dangerous individual. One of these "friends" even said that she was one of the main people who was creeped out by the stream and wanted to know the truth. She also revealed that Zoom threatened her and was harassing her by sending things to her school. People basically ignored it.
2. He focused solely on the age of his girlfriend at the time, which is the major misdirection here. The girlfriend's age is irrelevant when you talk about masturbating to a nine year old getting anally raped. He says this was supposed to be funny, but for all involved if this was a skit they should win an Oscar. Zoom doesn't sound like he's kidding at all, although his voice never changes because of the cocktail of drugs he's on and possibly because he's a psychopath. The girl sounds genuinely fucked in the head, for a girl that's supposedly 18 at the time, she's the most convincing part.
3. Diogenes tried but was obnoxious, as was King of Pol. Their self glorification also heavily derailed the stream off of Zoom.
4. Because it was such a horribly put together show with zero moderation or coherency no one either understood what was going on in the stream or cared.
5. Corey began to accelerate his bizarre lustful journey for the attention of Andy.
6. The sheer amount of sperg present in the stream is enough to distract from Zoom, because ultimately no one cares about him. Notably present as far as I can remember (Andy Warski, Diogenes, Joachim, King of Pol, TonkaSaw, The Quartering, and of course Zidane, Gator, Ralph.)
This is why I have absolutely zero sympathy for Ralph as he got involved with this lunatic knowing full well it was a horrible idea. The reason they have Zoom around is because he brings the the drama and content, unfortunately you make a deal with the devil the price is always going to be more than you bargained for.
