There's been a case in Argentina that's very fucked up. All media reported on a transgender kid whose parents were paraded in every other tv show saying they were helping him to achieve his dream of being a girl. Little after that, the father's daughter (let's say Jane) and another brother (John) showed up to speak the "truth":

-John said that there were times where the kid wanted to dress as a boy, but the mother threw his boy clothes away and even force him to wear accessories he didn't want to.
-John also said that, when he was younger, he was effeminate so the mother wanted to force him to be a girl. When he didnt' want to, he had to fled home (or was told to leave, can't remember).
-Jane said the kid talked to her and told her that he was now happy and got used to act like a girl, especially because he's achieving his mother's dream of having a girl despite he doesn't want to be a girl.
-According to Jane, her father just goes along with it because it's the mother's whim that he's a girl and he doesn't mind. She doesn't believe him.

Honestly, I think this is what happens with both Lactatia and Desmond but because South American societies are less political correct and media isn't as scared of speaking the truth, we eventually found out. I'm sure that, if someone who is objective and not insane goes through the case of these kids, they're gonna discover that the case is exactly the same.

Quite honestly, had I performed like Desmond did when I was a teenager, I'd probably STILL be grounded.

Why are people not getting that this has nothing to do with the fact that he's a boy, but that he's a child? They bring up child beauty pageants, like those are any better! Those are disgusting too. They're just as gross, because those kids are given drugs too and often made to diet when they're like, five.

I don't care if it's Desmond or Desiree, this is fucked up. Kid wants to prance around in make-up and heels in front of the mirror AT HOME? That's one thing. In bars for money? Um, no.

If you had parents with even an ounce of morality or sound mind then yes, you'd be rightfully obliterated.

This is flying under the radar because of the fringe (but still very real and terrifying) pedophilia acceptance movement that exists in the modern left. At best, Desmond's parents are ignorant enablers of this sick shit, thinking that the only thing their doing is supporting the sexuality of their child. At worst they're well aware of the spectrum of horrible things that could happen to Desmond at places like that nightclub. Both are reprehensible if you ask me.

Desmond is going to irreparably damaged when he's older (He already is at this point.) I believe he'll end up as that tranny kid, forgot his name, (His doctor accidentally cut too much of his penis off during circumcision, and the man used it as an opportunity to troon the kid out and see what would happen. Fucked up story, I'll try to find it and edit into this post.) but the kid ended up killing himself after years of dysfunctional living.

That's kinda the problem: it's not the kids, it's the parents. Abusive parents who exploit their talented kids have been a thing since the times of Mozart. The difference is that now entertainment has become more and more available and we've become also easier to please. In times of Shirley Temple, kids at least had to have an actual talent to convince Hollywood to hire them. Now, anyone can upload a video of their kids doing any ridiculous stunt and the video has high chances to become viral and make the kid famous. Kids as young as Desmond adapt quite easily to the lives their parents instruct them to live, that's why they say "yeah, I'm happy with this".

David Reimer? He was like Patient Zero of all of this madness. Funny how much of what progressives repeat about gender comes from the books that John Money (the guy who "treated" Reimer) wrote after forcing him and his brother to perform sexual acts to get used to their genders. He just decided "look, this kid doesn't have a penis, so I put him a dress and call him Brenda and he's now a girl!" and people bought it. They never go to the part where David (who was born as Bruce and later was changed to Brenda) never felt comfortable with his reassigned gender, was bullied because he didn't look like a girl, wanted to act as a boy, and later ended up killing himself, just like his brother and later, his father.

The difference between Reimer and Desmond is that Reimer's parents eventually figured out something was odd and actually tried to support his child once he was free from Money. Desmond's parents encourage this behaviour on the child because, unlike the Reimers, this is about themselves.
