I don’t know but the tell for me with the 7 lb weight loss was in her voice. Wouldn’t you be happy or excited that you lost weight? She sounded too flat for me to think it was genuine and not the 8th attempt for her broken/inaccurate scale to show her claimed weight. Like others have said, I’ll only believe her stated weight when we see it on a doctor’s or even the gym’s scale and it doesn’t look as heavily edited.

Bibi? and his girlfriend have done a superb job of getting her super morbidly obese ass out of the apartment. I think her manic binge cycle has much to do with being unwelcome in her own apartment.

It's interesting how Chantal always projects her inner conflicts onto outside actors. Instead of being disappointed in herself or reflecting on whether she truly wants to lose weight, she re-frames the conflict as her v.s the haters. It allows her to ditch ownership for her flaws and place the heat somewhere else.
There's a type of motivation called introjected regulation, which is when someone internalizes a rule they've been taught, however they don't accept the rule as their own and they perceive that it comes from the outside world. There's definitely some of that with Chantal, there's a lack of genuine motivation. It's like she's placed us - the viewer - in the role of an external tyrant expecting her to lose weight, and she's placed herself in the role of the victim resisting that pressure. She hasn't integrated the idea that there is no tyrant, and that weight loss will only benefit herself and her goals.

I suppose fast food might be worth dying for if it were literally the only thing in my life. Possibly if I were stuck down a barren rocky chasm my whole life with nothing to eat but scrub grass and ground water in holes. If I knew there was a plate of delicious fried food at the top of some plateau and I had to climb a sheer rock face to reach it and possibly risk my life, I might do so out of total boredom and desperation.
But sitting comfortably in a home surrounded by all the world and its many incredible and fascinating things to do and see during a lifetime...fast food really doesn’t seem worth killing oneself with or for. Maybe I’m not as smart as Chantal.

Our society is a mess because we have become too permissive and reward behaviors which harm us. It would be great for corporations to undo some of the damage they have done but let's be real - none of this happens by chance and all these channels where deathfats eat themselves to death are not promoted by accident - its deliberate.

How is that even possible? Go out the same door you came in to enter originally, exit to exercise and then enter a second time to change back into your street clothes. I never saw this video, but the change room couldn't have been that large and confusing. When God was handing out brains and looks, Chantal lost out on both.

I think we're slightly talking past each other [ie: I didn't express myself sufficiently well]. I'm all for her being exposed to ridicule and spectacle. My problems are:
1 - she shouldn't be receiving a financial reward from eating herself to death
2 - she shouldn't be receiving any public funds to subsidize this lifestyle.
These two factors mean others will follow her, and in increasingly large numbers [pun intended]. While its amusing to me to watch this slowly sinking ship, I cannot help but feel Chantal is an edifice of a society which is also engaged in [figuratively and literally] eating itself to death. I really want that descent into madness to stop.
