Well, he's probably not wrong with regards to knowing more about the inner workings of the con scene, just by virtue of having done it for a couple years. But "I know things that I can't/won't tell you" is a useless thing to say, and he can't pretend to be anywhere near Nick's level when it comes to contracts or other legal matters.

Shane, if you have some knowledge to share, share it. Otherwise, maybe just move on to something else.

The Neil Kaplan one irks me not just because they swept it under the rug but the girl actual gave specific details about her ordeal, unlike Vics accusers. And they were like well its just one girl no big deal. But she had text messages, dates and times even named the Convention but nope she's telling a lie.

Thanks for correction, I didn't know anything about him and while he looks like a massive fag, i also thought he could be one of the hipster metrosexuals (is that still the right term), who look and act like massive fags, but don't take it up the bum.

I have a rule: if they look like they could be part of the extras for the Volturi in Twilight's adaptation, or explicitly look like soft boys ala Ezra Miller who furiously vogue in private, I assume they're as gay as springtime.

I used to look up to Neil but now I fucking hate him. He was a complete whiner on Twitter and he tried to pass the shit as #Metoo How disingenuous can he be?! 709472

Has shane actually revealed any meaningful information at all beyond implicating himself and others on being creepy sex pervs? Nick has been straight about what he does and doesnt know and so far has beem correct while shane... is shane. These people keep asking for us to listen to them only but give no real reason beyond "Ive been in the industry a long time" or "italian man and drunk black face lawyer bad". If nick has been lying prove it instead of just saying he is wrong. God.

Man, it's been like this for me the entire thread. I'm someone who almost exclusively watches dubbed anime, and the more and more I see and more and more I'm becoming disillusioned with the main players. My face has been almost a near constant ? the entire time. Never meet your heroes indeed.

At least I can almost do the art-artist separation thing. But just barely.

Also @AnOminous I don't know if it's just me being tired, but I was laughing for almost a full minute at the Shanefur Dispray post. You fucker.

It could be just that this bevy of Funimation VAs is just a pack of sociopathic fuckwads incapable of getting along with anyone at all, who just engage in Machiavellian scheming to destroy people constantly like some bunch of anime villains.

Which is not unrealistic at all to assume based on what has been discovered, but their competence would make Niccolo himself facepalm. He even warned specifically against their lust for the property of others in "The Prince" (slightly paraphrased)

"If one is to be feared, they must do so in such a way as to avoid inspiring hatred, and if one must take a man's life, they must avoid taking their property, for it is far easier to forgive the loss of a man's life over the loss of their patrimony."
