Yeah there is something with all those murals and the horse, I just go by the theory that in the case something happens to DC that Denver is the backup stronghold for continuity of government as the basis and that airport is connected somehow.

i believe Korean Air Lines Flight 007 was deliberately shot down (by the Soviets) to take out Georgia congressman/John Birch Society member Larry McDonald.

I'll throw something else out there. What if the plane never came back to ground but instead kept climbing, to the point it left earth's atmosphere? I know that a space shuttle has insane amounts of thrust/force/speed to get off the ground and into space, but could a plane, already traveling at 40,000 feet doing 500+mph pull the nose up and just keep going? What if that plane was so fucking high that it just left the gravitational pull of the earth???!?

Some people talk about the danger of AI taking over but I believe they've already taken over to some degree. Not quite the total take over some people present it but more of a MGS2 style control-system, with proxy bots spread out across the net with the actual AI controlling information on places like youtube, twitter and other social media websites.
I suspect that by April we'll see a quick rise in censorship with the IA doing the background work. We already see it in NZ and in the EU, but this will make it look like a childrens book version of fahrenheit 451.

Like with the cosmonauts considering everything that's been declassified nothing and the fact nothing came out that supports any sort of conspiracy I really doubt it. I fully believe that they thought it was just a American spy plane, and considering if I remember correctly there was one actually a hour behind it they clearly had good enough reason to think that. Also regardless of if it was or wasn't a military it was still a unknown and unauthorized flight in their airspace, honestly as much as it sucks I feel they did have the right to shoot it down.
With that said your post reminded me of another flight that I feel everyone in this thread will be interested in. Iran Air Flight 655 which was shot down by a America navel vessel because it was misidentified as a F-14, despite the fact everything on board the ship was working properly, and the commander of said ship was known for being kind of reckless. Despite killing just under three hundred innocent civilians he wasn't charged for any criminal action, was still given a Legion of Merit after the end of his tour of duty, and his actions were defended by at the time vice president George H. W. Bush. I imagine that I probably don't need to say this, but I think they went way too easy on him and he should've at the very least never been allowed to command a military ship after the incident. Also given how the US criticized shoot downs both before and after Flight 655 it's completely hypocritical for them to treat it the way they did.

The name of the game isn't controlling information; that is obvious and the mind rejects it, man naturally rebels against those chains. It's influencing information. Giving one type of information a 10% push, hampering another type of information by 20%.
Twitter, facebook and google all have the option to diminish showing certain messages or people by a percentage. This means that if you release certain messages or videos, you end up thinking people don't really care, due to low engagement. But it may just be that algorithms/ai identified the message in need of being suppressed. It's as if there is an external hard to check volume control on everybody, amplifying some messages and muffling others.
While interacting with friends you can as a group be conditioned towards certain beliefs, modes of speaking, topics of discussion. It's more powerful than full control, because the system would be rejected, like a fast killing disease. Diseases that have an incubation period can infect more people before the host isolates / dies. Online influence can influence more than online control can control.
Control also exists of course, but is a more extreme measure and in some cases still hard to fulfill (see new zealand).

Kompromat is an old Soviet term. If you were well placed in the party or government you got to appoint people. You wouldn't want them to betray you though so before picking someone for the job you'd make sure to have some compromising material on them. It got the point where sometimes prospective position seekers would be told outright that doing something illegal and turning over evidence of it to the higher-ups was the only way to get the job. This system was rampant throughout the soviet union and mostly worked at ensuring loyalty. I have no reason to believe that a similar system hasn't developed in any large bureaucracy or clique (see hazing rituals at Skull and Bones).
To answer your question more directly, In a world as degenerate as ours kiddie diddling is one of the few acts likely to see the perp jailed and unpersoned so it makes sense that if you wanted to secure power over a billionaire you'd need something like proof of pedophilia (see Jeffrey Epstein and the Lolita Express passenger list).
To control an animal you need force,

Say you get to appoint someone to political office with some power. Let's say you're solely interested in developing your power and you can't appoint yourself, because you're already holding office. Well you appoint someone who you know will be loyal, a friend, a family member, etc.
Now those bonds are not certain bonds either; history is full of wars waged between family members or friends flaling out. It's better if you also have some form control over that person.
Pedophilia has the perfect carrot and stick for the sociopathic. On the one hand you supply them something they want and that is not easy to procure otherwise. On the other hand you have blackmail on them for what is still considered one of the most heinous crimes there are.
So to get back to your question, I don't know if the elite themselves are full of pedo's, but you can see why it makes sense for many of the powerful (who might just be the elite's manservants and puppet politicians) to be pedo's; if you're not a pedo, you might have integrity or good morals and that's harder to control and therefor a potential threat.
Now I think and act on the presumption that this power is not absolute. If it were my thoughts and acts would be meaningless, so it makes sense to act on the opposite assumption. If I'm wrong I had already lost anyways. And if I'm right that there's wiggle room, then I'm not laying down without a fight for nothing.
And if the power is not absolute, this means that not all powerful people are similarly controlled or pedo's.
And to get back to your question: It's not so much knowing them that turns you pedo, it's very hard to "enjoy" their company if you aren't. In more ways than one.
