And a lot of the Jackie saga was based on how far he was willing to go in terms of making humiliating videos.

Making humiliating videos OR making videos of him cleaning his shower and cooking spaghetti.

'Jackie' wanted him to clean up his space, show off the skills he bragged about having, and be a little healthier. When he made it obvious those things weren't going to happen, Jackie started asking for more... unconventional benefits to their relationship (which he still didn't put any effort into). Chris had two simple options that would have satisfied a woman he thought was real and claimed to love. Act like a functional human, or act like an incompetent jackass. One of those choices involved less work, so that's what he went with.

Not trying to be combative, but in my eyes that's not a situation in which Chris deserves slack. It's another example of him angrily demanding he get to wear the big boy pants, and then promptly shitting in them.

Those are not examples of the most humilating videos. What about the pregnancy one? Or the various costume ones? Or cakefarts? (although I am not sure if that last one was specifically requested.)

I think one of Chris problems in the Jackie saga was he should have stuck to his guns about no videos unless she met him in person. That is a perfectly reasonable (I think the only reasonable stance) to take. The way he half-heartedly objected and half-heartedly complied gives a bad impression. It makes it seem like making videos because a sweetheart demands it is a thing he will do, so if he doesn't make enough or doesn't do them well he is being half-assed and lazy about the relationship. If on the other hand, he had said to a "girl" he met online but never in person "Sorry, I am not going to make a series of videos for you. Let me know if you want to correspond, or skype, or talk on the phone, or get together." I think fewer people would fault him.

But overall my opinion hasn't changed. I have said it a few times and I always get a bunch of negative ratings for it, which I have never quite understood. I think Chris didn't owe Jackie anything. He met her online and never in person. If Jackie were the real and honest girl Chris thought she was, making videos for her at that point was a completely unreasonable demand.

I honestly can't comprehend how people can say not meeting unreasonable demands was wrong on Chris' part. A lot of people on this board think it was. And I agree with those people on many other things, and see their perspective on the other things we disagree about. On this one I just don't get it. So I guess maybe I am being the weird one about this.

You missed my point. Those videos weren't meant to be humiliating, they were meant to show Chris succeeding at something easy. And he actively rebelled against it because he can't be bothered to scrub the black mold out of the place he goes to be clean. He proved has had zero interest in being a remotely fitting partner.

Then it got a little weird...

I take your point to a certain degree. In the case of the shower cleaning, if she "demanded" that he clean his shower, that seems less unreasonable. I would tend to say it is a little early in the relationship for that request, but that is a judgment call. If she demands he video it he doesn't have to at all.

There were certainly things in the Jackie saga that demonstrated Chris is a bad/unfit partner. I just think none of them have to do with his videos.

I can understand where you're coming from, because it's not a normal thing for a normal girlfriend to ask of a normal boyfriend. But Christian Weston Chandler is not a normal boyfriend, and this is not a normal situation (even if the girlfriend WAS hypothetically real and normal). If I recall correctly (and I might be wrong), the shower cleaning request was justified by Jackie because Chris had already uploaded a half dozen videos that showed him showering inside a giant slime mold, and she wanted to know if he still lived like that and would be willing to stop for her.

Now the whole situation is weird top to bottom, and under ideal circumstances no one should ever ask someone they're dating to upload a video of them cleaning their shower. In any other case it would be an extreme request that early in a relationship. But in this one specific case? Chris is working with the deck he built himself, and playing a hand he dealt himself. He really DID show off a bunch of videos of him living in squallor, and he's repeatedly admitted to eating nothing but fast food and having health issues because of it (including soiling himself regularily).

Given that information being readily available to anyone, troll or not? Anyone who starts dating him might have some questions about his lifestyle. A request that he show some willingness to get his life together isn't extreme, given the circumstances. It would be weird for anyone else to ask, or have asked of them. But this is CWCville, and the weird stuff makes perfect sense here.

Those are big accusations, for you. I'm sure if Kiwi Farms hates what I am saying I am definitely doing something correctly. I have no idea why what I said in that quote is controversial over all the other things I said. This is like Kiwi's version of a conspiracy theory thread. People getting their torches and pitchforks out before all the facts are in seems familiar. If you guys want to act like chimps and fling shit around be my guest.
Here's a good example of cognitive dissonance. You came into this thread with a post where you called one user biased and said other users were acting like bitches. Now you are saying that other users are the ones shit-flinging. Don't you feel any conflict between your own conduct and the standards by which you judge others?

You used the same argument strategy against me ("if you can't see what you did wrong there's no use in me pointing it out") that TJ Church uses in his thread.

You're really not doing yourself any favours here - and that's before we get to using words you don't know how to spell. Why not find less controversial threads to post in?

Finally - although the full details aren't out yet, the basic facts of the recent Chris trolling have been made known. Null gives an excellent summary here:

Thetan built a web of trollsonas, including impersonations of real people from Chris's past. Skyraider has obtained documents and items from Branchland Court, through lawful means.

Poor Brave Catie™ is a troll who sweethearted Chris.

No offense meant, everyone is being extra sensitive here. No need to get your panties in a knot.

It was pretty clear from what I quoted. If you want to clarify it go ahead. Fallacy was not the correct word choice though. I believe your defense was pointing out meme arrows...

No. I don't care if you don't like my opinion. Or that you don't like I misspelled a word. If you can't argue anything besides this you might as well find a less controversial thread to post in.

Null put his own spin on what was happening. And I'm not saying he isn't correct for stopping it. That isn't even my argument.

You know, I've stayed out of this thread because I didn't feel like I could say anything that hasn't already been said.

Regardless of how anyone feels about the ethics of the situation, I think it's commendable that @skyraider91 and @Thetan have stuck around and continued to participate in the discussion and the forums in general - even in the face of some pretty harsh criticism. (Especially early on, when the existence of the "inner circle" forum was revealed.)

They could have easily taken their hoarded cocks and gone home, and I wouldn't have blamed them for doing so. But the info dumps, especially over the past week or so, have shown that all of us Christorians would have been poorer for it. It's to their credit that they continue to share new content with the rest of us.

Trolling Chris is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood.
There are no ethics when it comes to trolling such a person as Chris.

Every post you've made has been shit. Stop it.

Trolling Chris has always seemed like a moral grey area: of course, picking on an autistic man is wrong and anyone who disagrees is an asshole, but at the same time, he was also sexist, racist, homophobic, and an idiot...so how can it be all that wrong?

Of course, this was several years ago, during Chris's hayday. Nowadays, I'm just following along just to see how it ends. If Chris were to just fade into obscurity at this point, it may be for the best for him, and for everyone in general. There's just no joy in getting his goat anymore: in the past, he would throw a hissy and make a spectacle, but now, he justs (pardon the cliche) sighs and shits himself, nothing more. He's all dried up as far as lolcows go. He's a broken shell of a man, years of abuse from the internet changing him from a naive young lad who felt like he had his whole life going for him to a sad, emotionally dead husk of a person who is grasping to the last straws of his sanity.

And for this, we are all to blame. I won't try to claim I'm blameless in this: me, and everyone from the trolls to the onlookers who followed for various reasons, whether it be because it was impossible to look away or because we saw something of ourselves in Chris that we didn't like and needed an example of what kind of person to not be, has had some part in ruining Chris's life. There's really nothing ethical about it at this point. The best thing anyone of us can do now is just leave Chris be. Cut off the flow of information about the minutia of his life, plug up the leaks in his email, let him drop of the face of the internet, and move on to more productive ventures and/or deserving targets of ridicule and scorn.
