Toei's known since at least February if I recall correctly. There's no way they wouldn't have known of the shitstorm this big gathering around one of their licensors of some of their most famous cash cow IPs.

So uh, did Toei throw them under the bus? The thing is Nick said that Monica wouldn't know if FUNi is cooperating with Ty, but who will know what Toei is doing? For all we know Toei might be doing something themselves behind the scenes?

Any source for this or is this just an assumption? A rather reasonable one but it would be interesting if Toei has known for months.

They should be, Funi just booted the voice of Broly when the movie was such a success and he's probably going to be in Super and more movies. I would have thought Funi would need their permission to fire Vic from the franchise in the first place.

If this keeps getting worse (and at the Farm, we always hope it does), Toei just might say "fuck it" and do all of their licensings and dubs internally.
 
Wait....what massive chaos and destruction can Toei do? Can they put Funi out of business ala Gawker?

Nick had brought it up in one of the previous livestreams. I can't remember which one and he brought it up briefly I think during the superchats reading. I'll go look around for the stream, if I find it I'll post it.
 
I want to remind you guys Nick said it's "what's to come" as in Toei knowing. Maybe to do with the upcoming litigation
