Nick didn't say the Beard will be there in person, just that he's going to discuss an ethics complaint filed. But either way this stream should be great.

Absolutely. The worst I could find was a couple of credible-sounding posts about Vic treating con staff badly. I expect that over a period of decades that's going to be true of most artists - everyone has their off days.

I'm sick to death of the word "uncomfortable" being used as some kind of euphemism for sexual abuse. They're not even in the same ball park. No-one has the right to go through life without ever feeling uncomfortable. Everyone has the right to go through life without ever being sexually assaulted.

Our official nickname for him should be Tardy Boomerface lawyer. Tardy because I've yet to see a stream start on time. Boomer because I'm half convinced he had kids so he could have free tech support gremlins. And face because it sounds funny when paired with Boomer.

Best I could work out was 'We are going to contact you' (Nos ire ut vos contact) which doesn't capture the casual menace of the 'we will be in touch'. However it translates poorly.
It will be much easier to use 'Nos Autem in Tactu', We are in touch.
My latin is shit though. If someone has better translations then feel free to correct me.
 
So, before Shane inserted himself into this conflict the same way the obvious loser of the group inserts themselves into the "cool kids" lunch table, or the same way the Vic supposedly assaulted his victims, was he in actual danger of litigation? Like, people shit talk on Twitter all the time, lets be real about that, I don't think it would be that hard to convince other people they were just being a little brat online. But why on Earth would Shane want to be in on this Lawsuit, unless... unless he's actually convinced himself that they're going to win. Oh my god, everything makes sense to me now. They legitimately think they'll win if brought to court, that's why they won't stfu. What leaps of logic they must have made to arrive at that conclusion, I actually want to know. It would be a funny story if nothing else. I think in a past life, these bozos must have made a deal with an Outer God, and now that they've been reborn the Crawling Chaos decided to take what it's owed, so it took their sanity while leaving their intelligence, if that makes any sense at all.

I remember that being said a bit ago, but than suddenly soy comes out of protected mode, goes back to talking about vic, and starts talking about how he's doing the work that typically you'd hire a lawfirm to do (ie the research required). I can't tell if its just his level of exceptionalism that would cause him to think that A. They'd want/need his help or B. to release his previous lawyer who probably started talking to him about contingent plans for when they lose (ie: Settlement)

It's only evidence of his mental illness and unreliability and that he will claim things are sexual abuse that clearly aren't, as will be visible to anyone not mentally ill who watches the "glomp" videos.
