Look here’s how this is going to play out. You’re not going to be sued round one. You’re going to be subpoenaed as a witness to the initial lawsuits.

He might not be. If he lacks any of the knowledge he's claiming, which is fairly likely since he's a poseur and wannabe, his testimony would be irrelevant. Nobody pays any attention to him or his chair. BHBH will look into whether he's likely to have any useful information and might pass him over if he's just the mongoloid he appears to be.

This motherfucker is so stupid. He keeps squealing that there's been no collusion between these parties behind the scenes while continually insisting he has special knowledge that he wouldn't have unless he is in touch with them. So he's either lying or part of the collusion, and apparently too dumb to realize the pit he's digging himself even further into with every idiotic tweet.

Last time I was subpoenaed to give evidence it was in a case involving someone close to me. We literally went out of our way to avoid discussing anything to do with it because we knew that one of the first questions we'd be asked was whether we'd discussed our testimony with anyone.

For the record, it's not at all unusual these days for court cases to involve reams of printed out social media posts. If Shane thinks tweets are immaterial to this case, he's very much mistaken.

Shane is so salty

I can wait for Jamie to brought to the stand and being questioned over her story about what Vic did to her.

So, when did the hair pulling happen? What day was it?

I dont remember.

What did Vic actually say to you?

I dont remember, but it was probably sexual.

We're there people around you to witness the event?

Oh yeah, totally, lots of people saw it happen, let me just get on my Twitter account, I'll bring it up.

Can you name any of these witnesses?

Uh... RaisedByWolves?

I rest my case, yout honor.
And that's not even all they could examine.

Why were you at Funimation? Acting? Directing? What show? Who were your actors/directors/sound engineers that day? Do you have a correspondence telling you to be there that day? Do you have any correspondence that shows Vic was supposed to be there that day?

And you'd think they would know to recognize that. They took a man to court in social media, not the justice system. Of course social media can be used as admissible evidence.

The only good answer to that other than "no" is "only with counsel" and then refusing to answer anything further as privileged.

"Then how do you explain the 13 cons that dropped him before Monica, Jamie, and Funi? Were they all just psychic?"

You're so close to the answer there, Shane. So close! Use what little brain power you have.

The cons couldn't be psychic, so how would 13 at the same time drop him right before Monica, Jamie, and Funi kicked him on twitter? It's almost like someone was talking to them behind the scenes and got them to drop Vic, but that must be crazy conspiracy talk.

It also doesn't need to be "conspiracy" to be tortious interference. You can prove TI without that. You can prove TI without defamation. Truth is not a defense since many statements that constitute TI are true, i.e. if you don't breach your contract with Vic, we'll breach our contracts with you.

As far as I'm aware, lolcow farms is a shitty vagina version of 4chan and kiwifarms. Their userbase is primarily female and they obsess over bitching about makeup, kpop stars and cosplay whores.
Kinda off topic, but I used to lurk there when the place first started and contrapoints was apparently a admin there before the site turned into TERF territory
Just to let you know the type of people there
Edit: my spellcheck fucked with me lol

They really do think Twitter is some form of reality, don’t they? Hey Moron! The looming case will be about conspiracy to interfere with an actors employment contracts, blacklist him from an industry and deny him career and income via a broad series of public and private defamation and direct pressure on employers. Much of the defamation occurred via social media including Twitter Tweets. Of which the defendants will have to answer for each and every one. H and the big boys like Funimation? They have a lot of exposure and liability here. So the first thing they will do is throw your asses under the bus and claim you all were the instigators. They just acted on the information you presented. Because dude, Rumor is not allowed in court. “Everybody knows” is not a standard of evidence. When the lawyers come knocking you had best have name date and location for every single claim you have made about the Plaintiff. And a witness willing to come forward.

And yeah, people are getting sued. Lawyers are getting paid. Letters have gone out. Those letters that said they may or may not be getting sued, etc? They mean you’re getting sued. It’s a neat little Texas thing. Sending them first helps triple the damages. Lawyers are involved. Lawyers have been fully funded. This isn’t a Twitter War you can win on obscure points. “Oh the mean lawyer lied because he said he didn’t have my address when he did, so I Win!!!” Yeah, no. It doesn’t work that way. It’s going to cost everyone involved a tremendous amount of money. And there is no play nice. There is no “well why make things bad for everybody?” You and your fellow clowns cost the Plaintiff everything. He has nothing left to lose at this point. And under the laws of Texas, You or your fellows will likely lose everything for that.

They've already made things bad for everyone. Now they have to deal with those consequences in the form of a very expensive lawsuit.

Someone needs to make a collage of all the stupid shit Shane and Co. have said when discovery reveals them to be full of shit

There he goes teasing evidence and not just sharing it again. Todd revealed the texts with Jessie immediately, if Vic admitted guilt why haven't they actually shown it? Why is it only NOW that they're talking about him admitting guilt in text when they claimed before he admitted it in interviews and videos?

It's like they're slowly accepting that their previous bluffs won't work but still don't understand that TI with contract does not care if they were telling the truth when they purposefully interfered with his contracts. There's no defense. Even if it's Actual Hitler you still can't intentionally interfere with his contracts.

And it's dumb they keep claimng that they have evidence of stuff that Vic and his team would already know about. You can't surprise Vic by him saying things that he knows he said. This kind of bluffing only works before the legal action. After it's started it's obvious he's already taken this into account.

All his silly stupidity aside, I still don't get why these people don't understand that even if they win they're going to be reamed with legal fees. Vic is headed toward $200k in legal fees before he has to spend a penny of his own. If nothing else, they're going to lose tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars they can't recoup...and they'll still lose in the TI case.

I've been super busy the past couple of days but did anything exciting happen in yesterday's stream?

Nick was thoughtful about this line of reasoning last night, implying that these people may have been contacting the cons to get Vic dropped before Funimation had said anything. If true couldn't this dig Funimation in deeper shit then they already are?

I think it was mostly Nick talking about how he has multiple sources for his info and twitter law school / dunking (Oh and damian's photoshop of Soye's masked crying got a feature). Tune in tonight - Soy sent Beard an ethics complaint and Nicks got the video people have been sending to cons to get Vic kicked.

What texts is he talking about?

I’m pretty sure Ty would have known by now what texts this idiot is talking about.

Why does he care so fucking much about this?

More to the point, why are they not making those texts public now? There's no reason to hold them in reserve for discovery if doing so is going to force them to spend money on legal fees when they could avoid doing so. There's no reason to withhold any of the evidence they claim would prove their version of events to be true.

And it sure is interesting that Shane refers to an exact number of cons as having dropped Vic. Not "several", not "many", but "13". Why would Shane have reason to be keeping track of the number?

Nick has also consistently said "show me evidence that I'm wrong about Vic and I'll lead with it". Hacks don't do that.

Hell, bring us evidence and we'll lead with it. We're not Vic's personal army and we're all about the internet drama.

I wish the Amazons would make Shane cry in the stand but he's so irrelevant to the case right now that he wish he was who the Beard's referring to as Iago.

I've been trying to look at this debacle from the side of kickvic, and my head really hurts from doing that. Let's see what they have.

Dozens of first hand accounts of Vic being a creep.
Cant name a single persons actual legal name, cant put a date to any of these stories.

An incriminating video proving how "dangerous" Vic is.
First of all, if such a video really did damn Vic, you can bet ur ass these dumb dumbs would have released it just to gloat. Second, I would looove to know just WHEN this video was made. Depending on how long it's been, the implication is that you guys knew for YEARS which is another can of works entirely.

Funimation did their own private investigation, and no company is ever corrupt or dirty or run by humans which are very fallable to things like vice.
I'll let that speak for itself.

But we do have stories, with photographic evidence and stuff!!
How many of these have been debunked by now? I know its at least 2, and theres probably more I don't know about.

The people suing us arent real lawyers, they have no idea what they're doing.
They're actually banking on the idea that the opposing side is incompetent. NEVER BANK ON THAT. If it is true that your opponents suck, take that as a happy bonus, don't rely on that.
