One of my favorite moments during the bar complaint section was when Ron SoyeBoye said he was a third party to the lawsuit and Nick was gobsmacked. He apparently doesn't know what a third party actually is. Because that stupid motherfucker is definitely a flat out party to any litigation that comes along.

my favorite (aside the mr/ms part everybody loves) is where the form asks what was his fee arrangement with the attorney and he answers "there's a gofundme started and the goal was 100k" THEN saying "he's not my attorney" in the question after.

the fucker has zero reading comprehension and didn't even bother writing $100,000.00 in a formal complaint.

Ty did say he was looking into both companies. He never said anything particular about Funimation nor Rooster Teeth.

Also, Vic is a contractor for Rooster Teeth in the same vein that he is for Funimation, yes? The at-will state clause shouldn’t apply here also, even if Rooster Teeth were smart about their word choice.

The still might be on the target list, but Funi is a much bigger issue.

As an OG fan of Red vs Blue since before youtube even existed and you had to download videos to watch them because embedded video didn't even exist yet.... It pains me deep inside my soul to see what that company has become. Shane's Letter made it clear that RT was dead. RWBY should have been laid peacefully to rest with Monty When he died.

I’ve said it before, but I’m okay with RT not getting the full brunt. Aside from a couple people, they were pretty professional about the whole thing, just putting out that statement and not going stupid on Twitter or anything. It’s possible Funi put pressure on them about it as well, but that’s honestly just grasping at straws. At any rate, they’re a lot more professional and in control of things than Funi is. I’ve heard rumors that things were really shit working at Funimation, but I don’t have anything definitive to share about it. But living in the area, I’ve heard more rumors about Funi than I have Vic.

While i Cannot confirm this I have heard Via the grape vine that while RT technically announced first Funi made their call well before RT did and that information was known internally at RT.

Essentially Some critical RT employees got wind that VIC was on the way out and gave an Ultimatum/offer RT management could not refuse if they did not follow suit.
This info is 4th hand by virtue of knowing some people in the San Diego Comic con Scene. Take this with a massive truck load of salt because for all i know it has been severely warped by virtue of human telephone or is an outright fiction.

That the plaintiffs were deposed, I believe.
They know what deposition is like already, but "relish the chance" to go into it again? Shit's not adding up even worse than it was before. Maybe they came out ahead in their settlement somehow and think this will be similar for them. Who knows with them?
