Everyone is glad that they've moved passed that stage and experienced life/feelings. It's just that people sometimes wish they could go back to when everything was simple. She really is stuck in that time of her life it seems, it's like being a kid but not having to go through middle school. Just living the life and laying around the house and eating junk and watching telly like everyone wanted to at that age. I think for her mentality she's doing exactly what she wants to do. The only issue is the size it's made her.

I dunno maybe she has had these sorts of thoughts but I genuinely believe she is still mentally around that age, it's never been proven otherwise.

I’ve been watching these last few days and forming my own speculations. ALs mind is fascinating. There are 3 big things I see.

As others have stated she’s not afraid of death because “it won’t happen to her”. I won’t repeat more.

What I see that she’s truly afraid of losing is her views and her money. Think about it. All these videos and some even given on weekends? She seems to think that if she not only goes back to weight loss but puts out a ton of videos people will watch again. I’m not keeping track of her views because I don’t want to give her money. But she’s not fearing death, here, she’s fearing a lack of income. She probably doesn’t know another way to make money and it would kill her ego to admit to anyone that she’s going to use the government for disability.

Which leads me to my last thought. She may view death through a childish filter but she certainly does not view people in that light. Even if it’s not on a conscious level, she is a lying, manipulative and abusive woman who will wring everyone around her dry of their emotion while fattening them up to make her feel better about herself. Becky and Twinkie are huge, and got that way because of amber. Even in the destiny era, destiny got sick of her shit and left. There is a clear difference in destiny’s behavior at the end of their relationship when compared to the start.

My conclusion: I, too, believe AL has all the maturity of a 12 year old drama queen, however that maturity does not blind her to the fact that if she manipulated the people around her she can take advantage of her current situations

Like every other basic big bitch, she avoids hospitals like the plague, unless there is no other way. If she is wheeled in there, it is because others called. And if others call on your behalf, it is rarely okay.

You don't have to be emotionally and/or mentally mature to manipulate other people. Acting like a child is exactly what many of the narcissistic people I know do to throw the people around them off balance - when the relationship is new (be it a friendship or something else), it disarms them, because they don't expect a grown up to react in a childish way. After the relationship is well established, those people will avoid doing things that would trigger the childish behavior.

Bear in mind that Amber has always sought people who think they're outsiders and/or didn't get what they deserve in life. Amber wobbled into their lives with promises of an easy life, with no adult responsibilities.

I think that for Casey, Krystle and even Destiny, Amber was seen as an example - the sassy, bold lesbian who was loud and proud.

To me, it’s just more evidence that she’s perpetually mentally stuck in middle school. She’s always talking about haydurz and boooleeen and those are middle school concepts. When you become an adult, you have the means to address it. Not whine about it, but take it for what it is and move the fuck on.

I've avoided pointing this out thus far, but people I've known with BED/narcissistic personality issues or some mixture of the two, who will also manipulate others without really thinking about it. I've been wondering since I began following AL whether or not she realizes what she's doing. Now, I DO think she knows what she's doing when she turns on her camera. She knows how to clickbait, I'll give our beast that. But what about on a more personal level? Does she realize what she's doing to Becky? Or is it, (as I suspect), more emotionally driven?

What I mean by this is: she obviously manipulates the people she's romantically involved with. But is this thought out or a reaction? Becky is thinner than Amber. Is she consciously trying to make her fat or does that drive exist on a deeper level? When Becky hugged Rafe, was AL's comment "group hug" something she thought out, or did she simply ask because she was hurt? I honestly think AL doesn't think out what she's doing in her personal relationships, or if she does, it's on a far smaller scale than what some people give her credit for. She is not a narcissistic genius, she is a narcissistic idiot.

There are certainly people who have these mental deficiencies that are smart enough to plan out their emotional manipulations but I'm not so convinced AL is that smart. If she was, she would have been able to both keep Destiny and blow her up another 200 pounds. hell, if she was that smart, she wouldn't have gained the weight to begin with at this point. She's smart enough to know how to find someone but she has not proven smart enough to keep one. in the same way that she's smart enough to know that if she puts out a ton of videos she may get enough views on each one to sustain herself, instead of lose money.

that being said, youtube WILL NOT always be a source of income unless youtube or google pay you. I'm interested both to see what happens to her youtube career and her health
