The Internet's Most Trusted Anime News Source saw a random shitpiece from Mary Sue and took it as truth and is rolling with it. This has nothing to do with KickVic, so I didn't bother archiving it, but it does show you just who some of the main people behind this are and what their credibility threshold is. I see three main groups here:

1. People that really like Vic (as a person and/or a VA).
2. People that really don't care much about Vic either way, but are tired of the Twitter #metoo lynch mob and think these assholes have had this coming.
3. People that just want to fucking laugh.

Obviously, there's some cross-pollination between those groups.

I tend to fall into #2, and #3. I can't really consider myself as part of #1. I watched FMA:B subbed, and I can't even force myself to GAS about DragonBall.

Man I sorta fall into all 3... Vic is one of the few voice actors I really know about or care about, I do want to see the metoo movement get a kick in the teeth, and I do like laughing.

Of course there are some perks to this whole situation, I found the farm's for instance, right before the New Zealand thing went down too. I also found Nick Rekieta so there's a new thing for me to watch now, and speaking of new things to watch there are Null's streams. Then there's going to be the 15th, that week is going to be great, my payday is at the end of it, at the beginning of we'll see the start of these people and possibly a few companies getting burnt to the ground. This court case is going to be cathartic, especially for me if Rooster Teeth gets caught in it, oh how I hope they get caught in it.

Rooster Teeth you took RWBY... a show I loved and thought had potential... put chemicals in the water... AND TURNED THE FRICKING BEES GAY.

My problem isn't even that the bees were turned gay, it's that Rooster Teeth did it under the guise of being what Monty wanted... even though its obvious that it's not what the dead man wanted for his show. I'm bitter over RWBY and I know it, I want to watch Rooster Teeth burn for taking a dead man's work and making it their own political mouth piece, I know I won't so I'll settle for watching them burn for Vic (or at the very least Miles Luna).

Vic (unlike RT and their voice actors) actually cares about his fans, he doesn't call them homophobes assholes any other name or gay slurs like the kickvic crowd want you to believe.

In fact if anything he's been kind, at a con I went too Vic was on a RWBY panel with some of the other voice actors. One of my friends there was and still is a Vic fan so she went up to the microphone they had set up to be first to ask a question. The time for questions rolls around at the panel and my friend goes to speak into the microphone and... nothing happens, the microphone wasn't working. So Vic of course punches a staff member ou- NO he doesn't, Vic (instead of having some outburst at staff that kickvic would love to see) gets off the stage with his mic so she can use it instead. He also does the voice of his character and my friend is embarrassed and nervous so... brace yourselves.... Vic gives her a hug, because Vic cares about his fans and people in general.

This is probably off topic by now but I felt like it all was worth saying.

If I remember correctly, the form for ethics complaints are considered government papers, right? which means even if they lie on their address, its treated as a crime. It's not that they can't read body language (at least not intially)-- it's that their trust in the other person (and perhaps in the entire female sex) is so undermined that they can't trust that their partner isn't going to turn around and say that they raped them, and they can't trust themselves to take initiative without that worry.

I agree with zero day defence. A large portion of false rape cases exist because partners decide to revoke consent either during or after an encounter that started off consensual.
