@damian It was on a stream he did yesterday which isn't up right now. I get the feeling he might have deleted it because someone was going off on chat. I'll get back to you if it is uploaded though.

The Pirates are better at everything... even at raising money for new stuff and underpaid animators(a way more important job than VA in a Dub)

It was. On a character who'd never say such a thing. Like somebody said, often a VA makes or breaks a character. And many of those who lack the passion for what they do and the underlying culture do the latter.

The best weapon consumers have is their wallet, though. Let Funimation and Crunchyroll hemorrhage paying members and get your stuff from other sources. Those SJWs that hate your stuff and profit from it can only do so, as long as there are enough customers to fund their jobs.

How is any of this real? This has been going on for, what, 2 months and these people are still going on? Are there any feet left or mouths to put them in? This has been an insane ride.
