Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

This thread feels like it's treading familiar ground which just strengthens the Wolves = Ren argument. That said:

So. Raised by Wolves got a letter, eh.

But there's no way RbW has been around long enough to have gotten a letter yet.

Renfamous, on the other hand...

... Could Renfamous be moving all her anti-Vic stuff to Raised by Wolves because some letter specifically mentioned her "Renfamous twitter account?"

Wouldn't that be a hoot? If she was trying to dodge discovery by just moving to a sock?

Whether this person is Ren or not, they're a deluded ass muppet that makes up crap and lies about everything else, so why believe them when they claim to have received a letter?

Either way, better off to ignore them since they clearly feed on attention, which does lend a lot of support to the notion that it's actually Ren.

If anyone wanted to get a more likely idea, just look at the times that they tweet and when they don't. I believe there are algorithms that can analyze writing style to see if it's the same author (an alias of Stephen King was discovered this way) but I would imagine that the computer would commit suicide if you fed it her tweets.

PonyToast (Sam Swicegood) has withdrawn, he admits that he cannot prove his claims. He also said that the police were sent to his house and that his work and family were contacted. He thanked Rackets for contacting him.

I don't believe for a second that police actually were sent to his house.

Anyone know if it's possible to get divorce records in Texas without being an attorney? Vic was previously married for almost a decade and divorced in 2001 or 2002. I was interested in seeing if there was a reason for the divorce given, if he'd cheated on her or something. As far as I can tell his ex wife has stayed completely out of any of this and is busy with her own life, unlike Michele Specht who has jumped on the kickvic bandwagon.

You can represent yourself in a clearcut case of divorce where everyone agrees to division of property, etc.

Flew too close to the sun, this is too damn funny, these people are falling like flies.

I think it's more the case that he's one of the few animu lefties who is capable of behaving like an adult and admitting he was wrong when presented with evidence to the contrary, or barring that recognizing that he really shouldn't throw gasoline onto a dumpster fire unless he wants to get caught up in it. Nick being in the profession he is in, he's probably good at getting cooler heads to prevail when possible.
